Dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon to sample some of the wines at Samuel’s Gorge. The area is nestled in amongst rolling hills on one side and to the other a view to the sea, a simply beautiful setting. We were not disappointed with the selection on offer and our host Nina was excellent. The highlight of our visit, beside the wine, was seeing Nina sashaying to us to bring our next wine to taste, truly magnificent.

A quick shoutout to Isabelle as well for being great!!

One of my top 5 cellar door experiences over 3 full days in Mclaren Vale ! They were our first visited after 4 days in Barossa!found out about them from YouTube.

Enjoyed the cosy, charming, and attentive, friendly service. Add the lovely wines from whites to reds, overlooking the lovely views ahead;you can understand why it's within the top.. And the best .. no wine charges.. very generous of them.

Not your ordinary or usual wines, too. The founder, Justin, and his team whips up different wines with single varieties, bringing out the best of each across the various grounds from Adeliade Hills to Mclaren Vale..

And we couldn't help but also get ourselves acquainted with the vineyard guard dog.. bull dog Toast.. she was a gem! Lovely and friendly gal!!

Will come again and recommend others to visit..

OMG!!! Amazing service, amazing wines, amazing view! Even though it was quite chilly, my husband and I made the most of it and tried some of their delicious varieties of red.
Special shout out to the lovely lady who served us today, Hannah you were a legend, very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Give that girl a raise ?

It is hard to put into words just how perfect our experience was at this beautiful winery. From the moment we arrived, we were blownd away by the kindness of the people working there and the beauty of the place. We have been to many wineries around the world, and this is by far the best experience that we have. The wine was excellent and each one was better than the last. The views were extraordinary, and we couldn't believe we were right there. We can't wait to tell our family and friends about this place and to return again someday. Everyone should come and experience this place for themselves.

Had an amazing tasting experience her with John. Came by myself and he made me feel welcome and had a lovely chat with me. The wines were gorgeous - particularly the Shiraz and sparkling red and would highly recommend adding this to your stop in the region

Amazing venue, incredible staff, very informative and super friendly. Saw the owner down at the Salopian Inn after our tasting, we were both waiting for the bathroom and because we bought some of their marvellous wine he let me piss first. 11/10. Support this business.

*EDIT* rating increased to 12/10 because of Sid.
