Bustling atmosphere, clearly popular. Service was prompt and friendly, though a bit variable at times. Food was fresh and well presented. The pizza dough was excellent. However, all of the food could have used more seasoning and flavour - everything tasted bland. In particular, the prawns on the pizza tasted like they had no seasoning at all. More garlic, more olive oil, more herbs, more salt and pepper needed in my opinion.

Our experience at Saint Maries was a mix of highs and lows. The pizza, with charred crust and fresh ingredients, was great. However, the arancini balls were the standout dish for me, crispy on the outside and perfectly soft inside, served with a chef’s kiss sauce. The prawn pasta was salty and flavorful, and the salad provided a refreshing palate cleanser.

On the downside, the dry martini was one of the worst I've had, so it's probably best to stick to the wines from the menu. And also, the restaurant closed quicker and earlier than expected, so it’s not ideal for long dinner catch-ups.

Overall, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt. The interiors and spinning disco ball added to the dining experience ?

We’ve been here twice in 3 days. On a date night first & then with friends. Both times we loved it! Place is very cosy & characteristic. On Sunday there was also live music. Great music too! Service was good. Only my pasta came late but was worth waiting for. Food was delicious! We tried both pizza & pasta. Definitely best pizza in the area & we tried many places. We will be back.

PS: They are dog friendly ❤️

Such a cool little spot with a sick vibe. The beef ragu was on of the best pastas I’ve ever had and that’s having eaten my way through Italy. Definitely coming back.

I had to ask them to turn down the music... not my favourite thing to do as a freshly middle aged menopausal woman ?... i had my elderly parents with me, the staff were very kind and turned down the speaker nearest to us. The service was great and as regulars at Saint Maries the food was fantastic, as it always. Its a fun place to eat, we had a great night... even the oldies enjoyed themselves. Highly recommend.

We ate here twice while in Brunswick Heads in December - once dine in and once take away. Both meals were fantastic, particularly the dine in experience. The pizza base is amazing, the toppings divine. The service was top notch and the coconut margarita to die for. I had the lamb pizza special dine in, and Lucky Marie when we got take away. Oh and the crispy potatoes were fabulous as well. Cannot recommend more highly!!
