Thank you so much to the amazing staff at Sahara Trails. Our daughter wanted to do horse riding for her birthday and they catered for our family of 5 with 3 young children. We all had a great time and can't thank the instructors enough for making us all (especially the kids) feel comfortable, safe and happy. The horses were all so beautiful and calm and we can't wait to come back again!

Instructors and horse handlers are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Horses are all lovely with individual personalities and the girls know them well.
We had a wonderful ride through the property and stopped halfway for photos.
Overall an enjoyable experience! Recommended.

A great group of people who carry out a calming beginners ride through their property. The team engage with you as they take you on the ride. Perfect for young kids and they are great with them.

Cutest little trail ride with the sweetest horses 🐎. Loved being able to stay and chat with the girls who ran the ride and learn about the horses from breed to temperament it was an absolute pleasure. Can't wait to come back and try out a beach ride !! 😍

Took my 5 year old on the 50-minute beginner ride and she can't wait to go again. Horses are beautiful and very calm, perfect for a beginner or child. Staff are extremely personable and great with the little ones. Appropriate safety brief, equipment is all in excellent condition. We look forward to making this a regular family outing.

I took my 2 young girls on the 50 minute bush ride today. Perfect for beginners, the horses are well behaved and just gorgeous. They look well looked after and happy. The property nice and tidy, amenities are there if you need to go. I saw there was a table area too, which is great if anyone is waiting.
The gear/equipment is clean and in good condition.
The 2 young ladies running the ride were professional, friendly, easy and fun to talk to along the ride. Loved the experience, one I'm glad to have shared with my kids (8 & 10) while we caravan around Australia.
The price is very reasonable, and they allow children 4+ to ride on the trail we did. It's only walking, so more advanced riders would probably want to choose a different ride.

Amazing experience. My whole family loved it! The girls who led the trail were engaging and friendly and the horses were amazing; we were lucky enough to do the 1hr trail, with Hercules, Dolly, Toula and Ruby and they were so well behaved! We’ll be back! Can’t recommend enough.

I took my 4.5 year old to try the 30min beginner ride on Friday and she absolutely loved it.

I was a little nervous because I hadn’t really done it myself and my daughter can get anxious trying new things, but the staff were so lovely and the experience was absolutely perfect for us both.

wanted to do a little shout out to Jenna in particular who did a great safety briefing and also walked ahead, guiding my daughter’s horse Spud and chatting to her the whole time. She was so engaging with my little one and I could hear her telling her about different things in nature, plants and animals, as we passed them - a very different experience for my daughter who lives right in Sydney city.

When we left my daughter said ‘Mummy let’s come here again!’ And we definitely will - such a great time and I highly recommend.
