I recently stayed at this hotel and overall it was a great experience for an early international flight. Really enjoyed the quick self check in & checkout.

• The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to the international airport departures, making it super convenient for early flights.
• The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
• The AC worked perfectly—it got nice and cold and, importantly, didn’t turn off in the middle of the night, which is a rare find in hotels.
• The shower was excellent, with great water pressure, and the room itself was spacious and well-designed.

• The only downside was the price—it’s a bit on the expensive side.

The room's fine. I got in late, so I ordered food, and my buttered chicken came quickly and was delicious! They've got a hairdryer and kettle for the free coffee/tea, plus lots of snacks and drinks (you pay extra for those, though).

Great location hotel. 1 min walk to arrivals / departure international terminal.
Rooms have black out curtains so can sleep in the day. Service was great. The gentlemen at reception gave me early check in which was really appreciated.
Only criticism is and I really hope they go back to their previous policy - to provide a bottle of water in the room. The hotel isn’t cheap so it’s an expectation that guests would have so it’s a big disappointment when they don’t provide it. I expect only tap water in a cheap motel.
The informal restaurant on site is very good.

Stayed twice in recent weeks. ||Firstly booked through Dayuse due to an early flight into Sydney. A room on a lower floor which while comfortable, was not the cleanest experience. It served a function for a few hours.||Second time far better experience. A far better room on the eight floor with a great view of the runway. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. Excellent value for money and the self check in is an excellent feature. Good food options and attentive staff.||Shuttle between terminals and an easy link to the CBD via the airport.

An overpriced outdated hotel with a very poor customer service attitude. Check-in was terrible, the worst it could be, with only two self check-in kiosks and one staffed counter for the many people trying to check in. The self check-in kiosks were being assisted by a person which shows how completely useless they are. At first, the kiosk didn’t have my booking, so the staff person had to go to a normal counter to do something to get the kiosk to work, and that meant they then cut me back into the front of the line waiting for the kiosk, to the glares of the other frustrated customers waiting, a very unpleasant experience. Then I had to enter in details such as my email address which were already in my booking, further slowing things down and again highlighting the uselessness of the kiosks. The staff person told me that it was because I had booked through a travel agent. It’s bizarre that the Rydges systems are so outdated that they can’t import that data from travel agents. Also outdated is the food service. I had to check-out at 5am for my flight check-in but breakfast only begins at 5:30am. A hotel right next to an international airport should be matching its breakfast times to the airport’s times. Rooms are okay but nothing special. The only very good aspects of this hotel are its location right next to the international terminal and the online check-our which was fast (although I’ve yet to check the accuracy of their final billing). But for the high price of this hotel, there are other better value options a short distance from the airport terminals or airport rail line stations.

I was charged twice for the room and it took several phone calls and providing onus of proof before I got a refund. The refund when finally provided was less than the amount charged. The staff is nice and the room is good enough however, the hotel has not seen any refurbishment since it commenced operations. I would not stay there but for the convenience of proximity to the airport..

We had a short layover in Sydney so we were looking for a hotel situated near the airport. Well this hotel cant get any nearer. It is literaly a 2 minute walk from the entrance for international departures. SO convenient.|The room was bright and clean, and we had a nice breakfast.|Check out was done by simply putting your room key in a box.

Stayed here for a recent trip. This hotel is very conveniently located just outside the international terminal and the train station. It’s ideal if you’re having an overnight connection to another flight. The rooms are looking worn now but I think they’re starting to refurbish the rooms. The service is great although the experience with the initial person during check-in could be improved. Before the trip, I had been advised to book the Superior rooms so that we could have connecting rooms. We paid extra for these rooms and made a note and followed up by email to control connecting rooms. When we arrived, the person checking us in informed us that are rooms were not connecting and the were no available connecting rooms. Luckily the manager was nearby and she overheard the conversation. She intervened and sorted a connecting room for us. We also ordered a roll away bed and the person who sent it to our room was also very helpful with sorting out the connecting doors.
