We booked mid week for two nights in a studio unit. There is plenty of under cover parking including several disabled spots, one immediately adjacent to the carpark entry to reception. The tariff was pretty reasonable and the location is excellent, particularly if you're a race car nut when a slow lap of the circuit sometime during your stay is mandatory.  Police radars are often in evidence so beware!||Our check in was smooth and uneventful and the receptionist was personable and helpful.||Our room was tidy, clean and well appointed although the furnishings and fittings are all getting a tad dated. The bed was however very comfortable and that's a major plus in my opinion.||The suite has a kitchenette with a full size fridge, microwave and cooktop, a dining setting for four and enough pots, pans and cooking utensils to cook up a storm. There is a three seater lounge, one arm chair  and a cozy dining setting for four. There are floor to ceiling windows with two central sliding doors along the front of the unit that faces the track. There are short pony walls that segregate the very large outside decks from the neighbours but the walls don't go all the way to the glass outter balustrade, enabling access to the entire expanse of deck that runs the length of the hotel. A real boon on race days no doubt!||The bathroom,  accessed via two large sliding doors, has a large corner spa, which we didn't try and a good size corner shower which, despite the leaky shower head that sprayed a constant stream of water onto the ceiling, put out a good supply of hot water. There is only one fixed shower head and no hand held head unfortunately. There are large pump bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. ||There is also a second toilet off the hallway just inside the doorway.||Overall, a spacious suite. ||I understand from the new restaurant manager that the entire hotel is to be renovated over the next few months.|

We were upgraded upon our arrival which was a nice surprise. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Balcony overlooking the racetrack was a bonus. Received friendly service in restaurant for a delicious dinner & breakfast. Convenient, undercover & free parking. Highly recommend a stay at Rydges.

I recently stayed at Rydges Bathurst for two days, and it was an incredible experience. The hotel offers a stunning view of the race track, making the stay even more memorable.

From the moment I checked in, the service was exceptional. Gordon at the front desk was fantastic, assisting with check-in and providing all the necessary information to make my stay seamless. The restaurant team was equally amazing—Keera was outstanding with her service, and the food quality was excellent.

A special mention to Deepak, who stood out for his exceptional customer service. Despite managing the restaurant alone at times, he ensured every guest was happy, providing attentive service with a warm and professional demeanor.

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The friendly and dedicated staff truly make this hotel worth visiting.

Highly recommend staying at Rydges Bathurst for the excellent hospitality and beautiful views. I’ll definitely return!

Great location.
Cleanliness of rooms could improve greatly however, as could their restaurant, both from a food quality and service perspective.
Luckily I bought antibacterial wipes with me to wipe down drawer handles, and coffee and bedside table top sides. Sticky, unclean and brown stuff. Unpleasant.

We booked a family room. On arrival the bed configuration was wrong. The housekeeper arrived about an hour after we let them know and sorted it out. She was very friendly. Sleep comfort was good. It was quiet apart from the kids in the room next door who played knock and run on the balcony. It is a shared balcony on the fourth floor so people can walk straight up to your room and access it if you don't lock the door. We would have liked to keep it open and get some breeze, but couldn't.|Breakfast was well below standard. We had to ask for forks, serviettes, things on the buffet that were empty (bread, bacon, egg, cereal). This happened both mornings we were there, so it wasn't a one off. There was no water to drink. Pastries ran out on our second morning and weren't replenished. We were told there weren't anymore.|The two staff we saw were run off their feet. |I would stay there again, but wouldn't bother with breakfast with so many good cafes down the road.

This is one of our favourite hotels which we visit frequently and I really don’t want to leave this review but I’ll cut to the chase (no pun intended) - it is time for management to do something about the repugnant intermittent sewerage like smell coming from the bathroom toilet and drains. It has been in every single deluxe spa room we have stayed in this year, in all sorts of weather and times of year. “We can’t find the source” isn’t acceptable as this issue has been ongoing for years now and has become more severe this year - the stench fills the entire room and is sickening. ||As mentioned we are frequent guests due to visiting family in the area (stayed probably 30 times in total over the years) and overall value is quite good. When the hotel is not full we always get allocated a high floor which is appreciated. Rooms are generally clean and room heating is great even in winter. No smart TV’s. The racetrack views from level 4 and higher are good especially the rooms closer to the chase. ||Another thing to note is room service is only available 6-8pm and not at all on a Sunday which is unlike most hotels, you can’t even order a coffee during the day. It would be great to at least have a drinks menu for the day. I realise the bar and grill is open but not everyone wants to dine in or travel into town. The only option is uber/door dash/menulog which creates additional waste. ||Again I really don’t want to rate the hotel poorly but our last stay the bathroom smell was unbearable and unless something changes sadly we won’t be back.

We stayed here over Christmas as it was close to our in-laws.. but was very disappointed the room was dirty for example black mould in the bathroom shower... Beds were poorly made and had to remake it as the sheets weren't fitted.. fronts of cabinets in the kitchenette had been removed and not replaced but the worst thing was we were there four nights and they didn't turnover our room so bins were full I had to remake the beds everyday just overall not what you expect from Rydges and yes we did put the door tag out to let them know.. I also let the front desk know but nothing was done... Then they tried to over charge us $250 luckily I had the invoice.
Positives the track is right there and my son loved it especially the car in the reception... Breakfast was ok but not worth the $25
