A comfortable room, with a view of my old school; Rulku Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Milingimbi. The staff were friendly and approachable. And, although the kitchen became crowded at times, meeting new and interesting people was all part of the experience!

Rulku Lodge is clean, comfortable and secure bush accommodation. The common areas (lounge, Kitchen, Bathrooms) are not airconditioned but all the bedrooms are. There is a good range of basic cooking equipment and facilities and also a communal fridge and large freezer and 2 x microwaves in the kitchen.
Each room has it's own bar fridge/freezer and TV with inbuilt DVD player. The linen is good and the mattresses and pillows are comfortable.
There is a little book swap library and a few DVD's for the communal big screen TV. You don't need to bring anything other than personal items and food. The manager lives onsite and she is helpful and accommodating. I have stayed in dozens of communities over many years, usually in dirty poor quality accommodation so I was pleasantly surprised with this place!

I travel extensively for my work in remote areas. So often the accommodation is well below par, WOW What a surprise when I checked in here. Clean, friendly good facilities oh did I mention clean. It almost felt like I was on holiday. The traditional owners are hands on with the venture as well and it shows. Lovely people. 6 stars if I could.

The best remote area lodge I have been to by far !. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very clean. I really enjoy staying here and can highly recommend this lodge.
