I cannot say enough good things about Royal North Shore Public Hospital! From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost care, professionalism, and kindness.

The hospital is extremely clean, well-organized, and runs so efficiently. The doctors are absolutely amazingโ€”highly skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my condition and the treatment plan.

The level of care I received here was outstanding. The nurses and staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported throughout my entire stay. I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way.

I can honestly say this was the best hospital experience I have ever had. I am so grateful to the entire team for their dedication and exceptional care. If you are ever in need of medical attention, this is the hospital you can trust!

I would say that I had a good experience here. I had a surgery booked with an 11am arrival time. I arrived and was admitted to SSU. I waited the day, until 4:30pm, to be told the surgery was cancelled hahah. Sure, that was frustrating but I do understand as it is a public hospital and there were probably more urgent things going on. I was told to come back the next day at 8am. The next day, I came at 8am and waited until 3:30pm and saw everyone else get taken in, worrying the same thing as the previous day would happen and it would be canceled, but I was taken in. I was a bit upset due to the circumstances but the staff on Dr Changโ€™s team were really understanding, professional and compassionate. I appreciate their efforts to comfort me and inform me about the surgery. Although Dr Chang was not supposed to be my surgeon (and I had never met him, despite it being a fairly sensitive surgery, I thought his bedside manner was great and I am really glad he was my surgeon. Despite the crazy wait times, Dr Chang, and the anaesthetist Clare, and particularly the nurse Liz, were amazing and I thank them so much for their help! Also, the sandwiches were great!!! (Not sure if I was just super hungry after fasting for over 12h, but they were great!!!

I have never been to this hospital until yesterday as we were fishing near by when my 7 yr old had a accident and I took him there. All i can say is we had the best experience from beginning to end. I couldn't fault anything. The triage, doctors, nurses, surgeon etc were absolutely amazing. Well done to all staff that we dealt with.

We are very lucky to have such a great hospital near to where we live. We have had family and friends who have had to be there for a few days, and some have been there weeks. We have also been in the Emergency section more times than we care to remember, and have always received great help.
As with ANY hospital, it is always best to have a healthy adult family member sit with the patient ... to be a liaison as required, and to speak up for help when staff are busy.

We recently visited rnsh ER with my 19 month old presented with a dangerously high heart rate, fever, lethargy, with a letter from GP. Were allocated to a junior doctor who kept us nearly for 4 hours with 0 tests done, 1 panadol and a cup of hidrolyte, ready to send home. Thank god we insisted on doing a blood test that came back really bad and xray that showed pneumonia. The doctors in the paediatric ward are lovely and caring people, that took the case seriously when he began to quickly deteriorate, but the lack of care and willingness to send very sick children home from the ER is seriously shocking.

I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital! Coming from overseas, I was very impressed how they took care of everything from check-in to the Emergency to seeing the doctor. All the nurses and Dr. William were so kind and all of them were absolutely top professionals. The doctor listened to me carefully and tried to help me the best possible way.

Thank you so much once again and keep up the fantastic work you're doing! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’›
