Service is great, as we requested to have a room with a window and we're upgraded without any hassles. Rooms are decent but the one we were in was a bit old. All appliances worked and was ina quiet location. Overall quite satisfactory.

Budget stay for a standard room, make sure you book early and directly with them as it is always fully booked online for a standard room. But a nice guy working at the reception offered me an executive room at no extra charge. I had no problems with the affordable price we paid, the room was a bit dated but was clean, the sheets were clean, plenty of towels, and a decent bathroom, plus free parking.

I Saw someone complained about the 2 o'clock check-in time when I checked in. I guess it was their first time staying in a hotel in their life. After 2pm check-in time is the same everywhere. I can’t wrap my head around how intelligent this elderly couple has to be to have some common sense. I truly felt sorry for the staff who had to tolerate their abusive language. Come on! You get what you pay.

We had to wait in the car park, in the heat for 45 minutes because he would not let us check in until 2pm. There were no other cars or people around. Our room was vacant, cleaner arrived 15 minutes before 2pm. Room had one coffee cup, 1 plate, 1 bowl, even though we booked for 2 people. Hubby went to get more crockery and guy was so rude. Refused to give us a knife to cut some bread and tomato. The place has a restaurant! Teeny tiny kitchen/bathroom area and filthy. Only upside was the internet was good. Make sure you ask for TWO key cards, as you need one for building door as well as room. We had to go back for another and he wasn’t happy. Mean man!

Edit: I notice the respondent below made zero mention of the filth, lack of cutlery and crockery, poor customer service, or being quite happy to let us sit in a hot car, at 1pm on Christmas day, even though we had booked 2 weeks prior. *Note I am in my 70's.

I was extremely disappointed with the level of service at this hotel. The receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. Rather than being welcoming or helpful, they were dismissive and condescending, making what should have been a smooth check-in process feel uncomfortable and frustrating.

When I asked for clarification about a booking issue, they responded with an attitude that was both unhelpful and insulting. No effort was made to resolve the problem, and their tone throughout the interaction made it clear they had no interest in assisting.

A hotel’s front desk is the face of the establishment, and unfortunately, this experience left me with a very negative impression. I expected far better treatment as a paying guest. I would not recommend staying here until they address their customer service standards.

Couple of problems in room. (Gave Sue the list).
Were not told about facilities (restaurant/breakfast).
Even though it's on a busy road, our room was at the back, and we had a good sleep. GK

Should be reclassified as a motel. Ideal for overnight stays, especially for business people. No meals are available as the restaurant and bar have been closed for years! There is a toaster, kettle, and small microwave and fridge, so simple meals/snacks can be prepared from local supermarket produce.

I’ve stayed here for years as it was close to family. It has changed owners several times and each time it gets worse. Our most recent stay included police cordoning off the room next to ours! How delightful when staying with children!! I can safely say that was my last stay. You’re hard pressed to find accommodation out this way that doesn’t need to cater to a questionable crowd so I can’t blame the owners for doing what they need to do but give this one a miss if you aren’t paying by the hour.

Stayed here for work. The company i work for booked through corporate travel company. I stayed here before with no issue. This time they said I had to pay on checkin. I gave them email if company manager as they have Amex on file. Spelt email address to manager. Staff member who speaks little English gets email wrong. They call her. She gives email address. Still can't get it right. They don't call me in business hours. Lock me out of my room at 7pm. And make me pay on my card. If you a business traveller, avoid this place like the plague. It's dank and empty for a reason. No restaurant. No services and rude staff.
