I wanted to share feedback about our helicopter ride on Saturday, 22nd March 2025.
While the ride itself was enjoyable, we were disappointed by the limited time allowed for taking photos and videos.

Before takeoff, pilot Ruben ❌did not allowed to take any pictures/video assured us there would be "plenty of time after the ride" for photos and videos outside the helicopter. Obviously, when you book an expensive experience, you expect to be able to capture some photos and videos outside the helicopter.

However, after ride finished & waiting for the helicopter to cool down, we were only given 5 minutes outside for three people, less than 2 minutes each before being asked to leave. This was ❌not enough time to capture quality photos or videos.

Additionally, during the flight, my kid mentioned she ❌couldn't see outside properly. It seems the seat height wasn’t adjusted for her, which could have improved her experience. It would be helpful if staff ensured proper seating arrangements for younger passengers.

Considering the high cost, we expected better service and more consideration.
The rushed experience and lack of time to take photos left us disappointed.
We hope you take this feedback into account and make improvements.

➡️ Give feedback on Google and via email but still ❌no response after two weeks. Easily the worst customer service experience I've had. This is not a cheap service ✅ think twice before paying this Rotorone.

Booked a flight for my sons 18th birthday morning. The weather was touch and go but our amazing pilot made sure we had the best experience. He explained the helicopter to us, weather, sights and was super friendly and engaging. The helicopter was fantastic...clean, great visibility all round and we felt completely safe. Many thanks for adding to my sons special day !!!!

On July 1/24, our family of 4 had the amazing experience of taking Rotor One's tour from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles, with a drop off at Phillip Island for the Penguin Parade. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable time during the roughly 3 hours we spent with Ed, our pilot. Ed is the epitome of professionalism - he made us feel safe, engaged in easy conversation including explaining all our myriad questions about helicoptering (? is that a word?), and overall elevated the entire experience. Note that the weather was dicey, this being the middle of winter - lots of cloud cover and overcast with the sun luckily burning through here and there.

It was definitely an indulgence for us, but having traveled extensively around the world, and having had the pleasure of engaging with great tour guides everywhere, I have to say Ed and our time on this Rotor One tour certainly ranks up there. Highly recommend.
