We celebrated a family member’s 5Oth birthday in the cellar bar room - it was a fabulous space and the grazing table food was delicious , thanks Henry for your guidance in choosing our menu ! A special mention also for the friendly service and efforts by Taylor , our own private barman for the night - he was amazing and he went above and beyond to make sure all our guests were comfortable and happy ! The manager Danielle , also checked in and made sure all was going smoothly and so approachable .

A great space for an intimate and unforgettable celebration of any kind ! Thank you to you all , we will be back !

Decent and generous pub meals with a huge menu. Our meals were delicious. Absolutely not kid friendly. Kids meals are $18 and don’t include a drink and ice cream like most other pubs that cater to kids. We paid $18 for a bowl of plain spaghetti for our four year old. Who ate three bites. Soul crushing. Great place to go if you don’t have small children.

Pretty good pub food.

This is one of those rare scenarios where I'd rather a smaller portion + price.

Each plate was massive but came with a big price tag as well. I reckon one plate could've fed two people.

Enjoyed everything we ordered, but honestly was too much. Definitely on the more expensive side if we're going by per head, but that's because we ordered a meal per person when it could've been shared.

Staff were amazing. We were met at the door and wonderful lady assisted my elderly Aunty to our table. Another staff member even came to fix her walker which broke on the way in. The wait staff were all friendly and helpful.
Lunch was delicious, schnitzel large but not too big perfect size.
The special dessert plate was amazing. Looked fabulous and all the selection tasted great.
Really lovely day will definitely be back again.

Honestly don’t come here if you’re gluten free. First of all there was a mix up with the order so my partner had finished eating before the error was even picked up. Honestly this would have been fine if the food that did come out was great. However the gluten free fish and chips was horrible. The chips were undercooked chunks of potato and the fish was also just underdone. Super disappointed.
Left hungry.

Having said that the guy who served us was lovely and it was not his fault!

When did soft drink cost so much!?

Rosstown hotel has been a local of mine for many many years. The food is absolutely sensational.

However..... when did a single glass of coke and lemon lime and bitters cost $17!? This is really concerning and disappointing because my family and I often head in for a meal because the cost of iving is hitting families, so instead of spending money at the local grocery shop, we head into Rosstown for the food and convenience which is generous, delicious and great value for money, but suddenly, soft drink is almost the cost of a main meal!?

If this isn't reconsidered and altered, my family and I will head elsewhere. When did soft drink become almost as expensive as alcohol, and it's cheap post-mix junk.

On another note: Sebastian is an asset to your business. He was the hardest worker there all evening, being polite, friendly and serving everyone their meals. Such a happy, up-beat individual. Thank you Sebastian for taking care of us.

Great food, large establishment with lots of rooms including dining and sports bar. Food is decent sizes, beer is reasonably priced. Not the most modern interior and the lights are aggressively bright. But service was great and quick on a busy night
