It was easy to book in, and their communication throughout was great. The room was clean, tidy and functional. The rates were excellent. There is absolutely no reason for any complaints. The location is also good. Should we need to stay in Rockhampton in future, we will stay here.

We booked this motel for an overnight stay in Rockhampton. There was an event on and accommodation was full. The reviews on booking.com were pretty good, however the price was hiked up to $399 from the normal price of around $159 for a spa room (the only room left). We could have worn the price increase with the lack of available accommodation and also being a Friday night, but the room was not only very shabby, with marks on the walls and falling apart furniture, and had no tea or coffee making facilities apart from a kettle, the room was unclean. The floors were dirty, there were cobwebs and insects in the corners, dust on the sideboard and bead head, broken light, and lights full of insects, and worst of all hair and dirt in the bath and shower. I did contact the motel via email to complain before posting a review in case there was some sort of mishap, but disappointingly never heard back. For $399 a night you would expect the room to be at least clean. Would never recommend or stay there again.

Stayed on the way up to Mackay for Christmas, booked direct on their web site , as I do not use booking sites- most of the time the money goes overseas from them. Definitely better to book direct or phone up.
We enjoyed the stay, the room was comfortable and clean.
On the way back I booked the same unit, as it was easy for my wife, being on the ground floor.
The lady at reception was very helpful.
I have stayed in a few motels in Rocky over the years, and the Rocky Resort gets my vote now, will certainly be a returning customer!

Wow, just wow. We had been touring the West and fled because of the wet to find this gem. Luxury. Great service too and good value. We had a high vehicle and they made accomodations. Next to the highway but couldn't hear it. Can't speak highly enough if this motel and AC in the bedroom which was a pleasant surprise.

Great service, very friendly and helpful.
Felt very safe and great locks on the room which is important to me. Room was beautiful and clean and soap smelt so lovely. Will stay again any time I’m on my way through rocky.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Has all you need when staying here and the pool is great to refresh in after a long drive! Close to aldi and the BP if you need any supplies. Reasonably priced too and the rooms are what you expect for the price too.

Checked in just before reception closed. The receptionist was very friendly & polite. Showed me through the room before paying. Room was very spacious & clean. Would definitely recommend this Motor Inn if your travelling through Rocky.
