Friendly service but don’t stay here unless you’re okay with sleeping next to a budget nightclub (the bogans are somehow louder than the shit tunes) and cockroaches/other vermin.

Literally the bare minimum in every respect and even then it’s pretty disgusting. Cant really expect too much for North Queensland but you’d definitely be better off (and probably cleaner) camping in your car than staying at the bogan scum convention

Went last night to the bistro with my baby and family for my sisters birthday. The service was amazing both servers (the lady and the man with I believe a French accent?) Were so polite and friendly. When asking if we could have napkins for her birthday cake they offered plates spoons, knife and candles over just napkins. We had candles already. But really impacted us how lovely staff were.

There was a jumping castle for little ones, my baby was very impressed and a relaxing atmosphere.

Only reason I gave a 4 star over a 5 is just the flavour profile of the main meal was weird for me hollandaise with pork belly on potato mash (They didn't have sweet potato) was strange and not so nice for me when eating. I prefer sweet options with pork and hollandaise I relate more to eggs or chips. Quality of ingredients though seemed good eg the brocollini.

Would highly recommend attending.

Solid place to stay, cheapest place I could find for the night in the area and the motel was along side a liquor shop, bar, restaurant and pokies. Very well established place. Rooms weren’t bad, comfy and clean although the room did have a weird smell to it. No wifi though, or at least no wifi that reached our room that we could connect to. At 1/1:30am my car alarm started going off and there was a man walking around my car when I opened the door, he was with another man who was smoking outside so not sure if the alarm just went off and he got up to check or he was trying to open the doors. Either way just make sure you keep your cars locked at night. If you are looking for a place to stay for the night, this is a good solid option.

Look. Every time I am staying for work and can't get a room here, I am disappointed. It isn't the Oaks, but it is great for a work stop. No other place I have found at this price point is as good. Excellent location. Rooms are basic but clean. Service was great. I was able to take my meal and wine back to my room. Staff is so friendly. I will 100% stay again, breakfast is provided and is most excellent in these convenient little packs. Basic tea, coffe making provided with ample milk and some cookies for dunking. 2 micro bottles of water chilled in the fridge. Shampoo, conditioner and soap, fresh towels, comfortable beds and cold as ac.
