Wonderful Ken Done experience great to have a look through and overall the gallery was lovely! Japanese exhibition upstairs was great and love the make your own origami. Overall great little visit here!

This was great fun. Kids loved it and found something around every turn. The cardboard building station was a hit as were the drawings.
Mad max inspired art was fun. It's over 3 levels but no complaints from the kids as they had a lot of fun.
It's free to look at and well worth a look.

This is a nice little country museum. Although a little heave on racism for its main display at the moment, it was good, and second, on the suicidal side, there was a nice small room off to the side that was neutral. The staff were welcoming, and they did let us know it was a little on the triggering side of displays at this time, which it is. So currently, if you prefer to have neutral showings, don't go until they change their display.

Absolutely brilliant!
The place is stunning,
The Cafe is brilliantly positioned,
Elevators if you're unable to take the stairs, there are also wheel chair ramps for wheelchair access.
The gift store is stunning with amazing gifts and accessories.

It's a must visit when you're ever in Rockhampton!

Had a wonderful afternoon, 2 of the galleries were closed due to exhibitions being set up, but they let us in to view one when it was safe to do so. We were very grateful as my guest was from interstate and was returning home the next day.
We cannot fault the staff and volunteers (a special mention to Jan) on the day. Everyone was enthusiastic and happy to speak with us, they went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome.

Beautiful Gallery with a great variety of exhibitions. A modern gift shop with beautiful pieces for sale. I would have loved to see more from local Rockhampton artists. Very convenient to have a cafe in the gallery.

Today visited the gallery. Lower gallery bumping in Ken Done exhibition. Upper gallery is the best exhibition I have experienced at the gallery. Excellent. Why more of the local public don't visit amaze me. Wonderful regional gallery. The Cafe serves the best food in Rocky. Go visit. Beautiful building, beautiful pictures & an excellent Cafe. You don't have to know anything about art. Just go. Rocky punching above as usual.
