It’s been 7 years since we have used this airport as we are over from England visiting family who live in Yeppoon. The changes they have made to the building in that time are fantastic it now has a real modern feel to it now and the staff were all friendly and very efficient.

Just love the Rocky airport. Very well designed, nice little cafe, and you can alway find a place to sit. Not too noisy either, compared to some other airports. I really like the chill feeling of the Rocky Airport. Great place to fly out from and to come home to.

Nice for a modern regional airport. Security is a breeze. Plenty of seating on the departure lounge and easy to get around the airport. Has an area closed of which looks like it could be used for potential international flights. Food place inside are on the pricier side and parking in ridiculously priced!
Nice plane spotting spot and platform as well near the virgin and Qantas freight building
Overall pretty good place.

Rockhampton Airport is a really nicely done regional airport. Sure, it's not big, but it doesn't need to be. Check-in, security and boarding are easy and efficiently handled. There is a coffee shop and a bar with decent food and beverage options available. Nice outdoor seating areas as well and plenty of taxis on the stand to get you into town. Definitely a good place to fly in and out of.

A truly Magnificent modern and dynamic Airport Facility with Everything any Traveller could wish for . From Regular Public Transport to Ad-Hoc Charter Rockhampton Airport which is steeped in History and Formerly Known as Connor Park Field. Public access is no fuss and All services available . Parking and Taxi services Are Directly outside the Concourse.

Upgrade has definitely made this a more comfortable airport after going through security! Nice little bar/cafe on the secure side. Security much more streamlined and neat.

Qantas Club Rockhampton was very disappointing. Horrible coffee and little more than a bare bones selection of dry crackers or tiny bags of mixed nuts. I miss the days when a visit to the Qantas club included barista-made coffee and a decent selection of freshly-prepared hot and cold foods. Some of the larger lounges even had top-shelf liquor. Now it's merely a fridge stocked with small cans of soft drink. *** Update from latest visit 15/02/2023: I decided to try the airport cafe for coffee and a treat before my flight, as the Rockhampton Qantas Club has so little to offer. There is only the one cafe, so choice is somewhat limited. The serving staff were friendly and expedient with the cappuccino I ordered. Unfortunately, the coffee tasted so horrible that I couldn't drink more than a few tentative sips. Yuk! For the price, I'd hoped for something better than coffee beans sourced from the cheapest distributor. Hot and cold burgers, sandwiches, etc were on display, but didn't look particularly healthy. Neither more nor less than the fare one would expect from an airport cafe. Overall presentation was clean.
