Absolutely no communication between staff, truly feels like no one has any idea what’s going/what needs to happen and incredibly difficult to get a clear message. I get they might be under the pump but they really need to lift their quality of care and services. Very disappointing when my mum has a terminal illness so transferring hospitals should be a simple and easier process.

I have the highest praise for Riverland General Hospital in Berri. I presented there with an emergency on a busy night whilst on holiday. The admin clerks were professional and kind, the triage nurse was very thorough and professional in assessing the problem. Waiting times were very well managed and kept to a reasonable time. When I was seen by a doctor he was very thorough and professional, with a kind chair side manner. Even though the department was very busy, patients were treated with genuine respect and care. My problem was treated promptly and I was very happy with the outcome.

Had to go to Berri hospital due to leaving medication at home. 5hr round trip to pick it up. After a bit of a wait which was reasonable given the patients that were arriving, they were able to get me sorted and on my way, relieving a huge stress for myself and my husband.
These people operate under a lot of stress and should get a shout out just for being there!
Thank you beautiful humans!

Cannot speak highly enough of the staff here! I underwent day surgery for wisdom teeth extractions and every single person I had contact with greeted me with such a pleasant demeanour that I felt extremely at ease despite my personal concerns about surgery. They provided me time to understand each process and were very supportive of how I felt post surgery and in recovery.
I wish I could remember everyone's names so I could mention them personally but I will always be grateful for them!
Highly recommended and have great appreciation for this place

Went to ED, looked after well from initial diagnosis to surgery and after care. Doctors and nurses were so caring I didn’t feel that I am all by myself at the hospital.

From admittance sign in for total knee replacement surgery , & very professional surgery & recovery team, to the after care from dedicated nurses ( who are run off there feet) even though they don’t show it when it comes to your personal care!! Brilliant bedside manners with empathy & up for a quick laugh & joke even at my own expense sometimes. Nothing was to much trouble. These front line battlers have my upmost respect. The catering staff were fantastic & often the least appreciated in my opinion, gave me 3 fantastic meals a day & I thought they were great. The Physiotherapist on site & on call were super effective & more than willing to help you get going. We truly are a lucky country when you can have life changing surgery with some of the best healthcare professionals all coming together to get you right. Massive thank you to you all, you made my stay very bearable & I thank you!!

I was unlucky enough to be so sick I had to go to the R.R.H. This was on Monday afternoon/night. Triage Nurse tired/sick of her job or just had a bad day. Not a good first contact when you are sick.
THEN it just got so much better. Many thanks to the wonderful, caring and cheerful nurses that attended me. I even started to feel better immediately. Thank You Nurses, you were awesome. Keep up the good work. XX
