Absolutely worth the trip up from cairns! Great cheese platter, Nick was full of info and very kind, the scenery spectacular and good value for money. Appreciated the reserved tables. Coastal views and mangrove tour, lovely lighting when it got dark. Happy there was a WC and loved how we could take care of our own bottles of wine. Couldn’t fault this. Thanks so much, I would definitely do again.

A highlight for our family during our time in Cooktown. Relaxing, well-organised and scenic tour alongside beautiful mangrove swamps while enjoying restaurant quality cheese platters and a BYO beverage. The kids absolutely loved the cruise and it was excellent value for money.

What a great tour. Nick has a vast knowledge of Cooktown and imparts his knowledge well. The sunset was spectacular and so was the cheese platter. If you’re in Cooktown do yourselves a favour and go on this tour.

Amazing Sunset Tour and Dog Friendly. Nick is a wealth of information on Cooktown and the local history without the tour predominantly being about that. Beautiful cheese platter served and can take BYO alcohol. Seated at individual tables of 4 to 5 so everyone can see the views and are relax in a spacious atmosphere. Very reasonably priced, highly recommend the Sunset Tour with Riverbend Tours whilst in Cooktown.

We first went on this cruise in 2016 and were excited to join Nick once again on his fabulous river cruise from Cooktown a couple of weeks ago. We weren't disappointed - Nick makes it a wonderful experience every time. It's a great way to see Cooktown from a different perspective and also learn so much about it's past. Spectacular sunset to witness with a cold beverage or two of your choice, glasses provided. The boat was full but didn't feel crowded. Lots of room to walk about and enjoy the ambience. Cheese platters very generous with local Qld cheeses. Saw some crocs in the river which generated some excitement.
We purchased a pair of his signature wine glasses and he delivered them to our Caravan Park before we had even got up the next morning!
$170 for a family of 4, almost 3hr cruise is excep value. Thanks Nick for another great experience, a highlight once again during our revisit of Cooktown.

What a great tour, Nick is fantastic and creates a fun atmosphere on the boat, he is a wealth of knowledge and the cheese and meat platter is excellent.
