Bought LS1 with gearbox for a project car from Darran, purely for the warranty he offered.... The engine was not checked, was knocking at the first go. After weeks of waiting, got a replacement, fitted and the gearbox is cactus as well. Done repairs to the box (as directed by Darran) but he doesn't want to come to the party to honour the warranty. Avoiding answering emails and messages.
All the delays and multiple engine/gearbox changes cost me more in labour than the engine and box themselves.
Not to mention car being stuck on the hoist for months....
All could be avoided if someone actually had the decency to check things before shipping.
I would be very careful to purchase parts from this business, especially if you need them to be freight to you and cannot check it yourself!
If I could post pictures of the damaged engine I would, It was a joke!
