Recently visited a friend’s mother at this place. O my lord, it was lunch time and I could smell the beauty of food as soon as I walked into the site. It smelled so good and I saw all elderly enjoying their food. My Friend’s mum is still in old part of the nursing home but we went to view the new area, it is stunning. Staff were so friendly, kind and attentive, when we asked for the direction around the building. My Friend’s mum seems so happy. Definitely a best place for retirement 👍👍👍

Beautiful aged care service, just did my placement there and I couldn’t thanks the team enough for their support, team work and in inclusive environment. Such a A1 team that are working collaboratively to provide the best possible service to elderly residents. My placement was for three weeks and there was no a single resident with negative feedback about this service. Keep up the great work and hopefully I will be back with the team in few years time when I complete my course. I would not love any further then Resthaven Westbourne Park to work or to live, absolutely loved the new building and the concept of modernised aged care service👏👏👏

During one of the most stressful periods of our lives, Resthaven Westbourne Park became a true haven for our family. Dad was in the hospital and reluctant to move into a nursing home, but we had no other options. The hospital urged us to secure a bed anywhere, and we were overwhelmed. That’s when Mary Thompson reached out. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly supportive, listening to our concerns and helping us find the right solution. Within a couple of days, she came back with options, and we decided on the suite at Resthaven.

Although the suite wasn’t initially available, they offered us a Superior room with the promise of moving into the suite when it became free, everything aligned, and Dad moved straight into the suite on Day 1. It’s an enormous, beautifully appointed room in a modern facility with communal spaces full of natural light and comfort. While the aesthetics and renovation are stunning, we were naturally concerned about the level of care—and this is where Resthaven excels.

From Day 1, the staff were outstanding. Verity, the Physio, made sure Dad had everything he needed, and Sugun, Finela, Karmala, and Sophie welcomed us with open arms. The laundry was taken, labelled, and returned within two hours, and maintenance tagged and tested all his equipment on the same day. The care extended to us as a family, ensuring we felt supported and reassured during this big transition.

Dad, who was initially anxious and scared, now grows more comfortable every week. He loves the food, which always looks and smells fantastic, and the nursing staff treat him like family. They even stop by to wish him a good night before leaving their shift. Most importantly, they’ve adapted to his routine rather than making him adjust to theirs, which has made all the difference in his comfort and happiness.

This residential facility truly feels world-class. The renovation is superb and will only improve once Stage 2 is complete. The website photos don’t do it justice—everything is even more beautiful in person. We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care and environment Resthaven Westbourne Park has provided for Dad and our family. Highly recommend!

New building is amazing! Gorgeous big rooms. Staff are lovely. Visited my elderly friend many times and always very impressed. She was very well looked after.
