The previous people that ran the place were unreal. I lost my son to suicide while I was there and the previous staff were so supportive. The new folks won't let me stay there now. Not sure why. The grounds keeper there was really good to me back in 2019 so I gave him $1000.00 bucks just to do something good for him. When I couldn't stay there anymore he blocked me on messages. I used to love that place but not anymore.

A beautiful caravan park location on the river. Lots of nicely grassed and shaded campsites to the area left of the office. To the right the spots have a lot more dirt and less grass. Yes there is a bit of truck noise at times but meh its not that bad at all and it quietens down at night as expected. Either way I would suggest avoiding the sites up near the road.
There are lots!! of trees and one review commented on low branches on roadways, yes there are some and yes management could prune just the branches that hang a bit low on the tracks but they are also fairly easy to dodge around where you need to as you drive through the park.
Weekends and holidays you will probably get some bigger groups all camping together. We had a few but they were no problem and generally considerate at night with their noise. Watch out if parking under one of the Black Walnut trees, they have a hard fruit that looks a bit like a lime, you may end up with some bombing on your roof as they randomly fall, I saw some parrots biting them off.
The amenities were maintained and cleaned well, no issues there at all.
There was a lack of any obvious grounds maintenance activity whilst we stayed. This was good in some ways as it made for a tranquil atmosphere. The grass had been cut but there is an enormous amount of leaf litter build up particularly in a few spots and accumulating on paths.
The river front sites were nice and hot property. Due to the amount of occupancy they get and shading these have a lot of dirt and less grass than other camp sites in the park. Book ahead if you are planning on stopping over a weekend and want a river front site, be clear about your van size as some were small, but there are heaps of larger sites that are not river front. The ones that backed onto the Western fence line were nice particularly the ones back from the road. Mid week outside of holidays I expect a few river front sites would be available at short notice.

A great campsite when on a road trip. Clean toilets. Well organised. Mosquito free despite being by the river. great brewery / pizza outlet 5 minutes walk away. A little out of Tumut so need to drive in to shops. Spacious pitches but watch the wind if by the river as fast flowing. Hang onto matresses and light weight camping chairs!

Disgusting service by the manager woman pulled in asked for river front no trees .
Went to site trees touching either side and all trees very low 1m lower than rooftop of van that's not on.. She called then said your site is booked out go have a look at these others, so whilst trying to drive around dodging many low branches with a 37ft van we were not happy with sites under trees everywhere and her complete Rudeness so money refunded and out we went...only if desperate you want river site but apparently all are booked out barely a van there.

We stayed here about 10 years ago and finally were able to return. Beautiful location on the edge of the Tumut River and within walking distance of town. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Various walking tracks nearby.

Lovely quiet park on the banks of the Tumut River, short walk to town. Shady, grassy sites with power and water, some with river views. Older style amenities but clean, well equipped camp kitchen. Nice place to stop and relax.

We stayed at Roverglade for three nights on site 6 right in the banks of the Tumut river. Such a beautiful park with walk / bike ways into town and along the river. Great place to set up camp and explore the snowy mountains
