Stopped over on our drive to our destination.
A very lovely beach with many locals walking dogs. I could see that that the beach is famous with dog owners as we spotted happy dogs of all shapes and sizes.

It was mid-day, clear sky, fresh wind and lovely ocean made my day.

Definitely worth visiting with family and dogs.

What a beautiful beach! My dog loved it and it’s such a long beach that you don’t feel as though it’s busy even if there’s a few people there.
There’s a car park there which is quite small but a lot of street parking around if needed.
The walk to the beach is really nice and different pathways towards the beach.
Would highly recommend if you’re going to take your dog there.
Hardly any rubbish on the beach as well.
Would recommend going in the evening to see the sunset.

One of my favourite beaches to go for walks. Much less foot traffic so is peaceful than the others. Has some great eateries near by. Always good to go for a snack after a nice evening walk.

On & off leash~Dog friendly areas. Great flat long stretch of white soft sand. Parking can be an issue. Busy cafe good coffee.

Beautiful beach for the whole family. My dogs love to be in the off-leash area which is massive. I am sure it is one of the biggest beaches in the area that allow dogs.

Great for a hot day when everyone needs a bit of a swim refresh to stay cool.

I would recommend to come in early morning or late afternoon as there is no shade and if it’s a sunny day. It can get really hot. Wear sunscreen and be safe!

Such a great beach to take your dog. There’s a section on leash and off leash. There’s plenty space for your puppy to run around and is clean. The only tap of water is at the entry . Limited parking available

A very beautiful clean beach and there is plenty of parking in the lot. Great spot for families. There are a lot of dogs running around too, very cute.

It is quite a big uphill climb when walking back up towards the car park… so… be warned…

Favourite 4WD beach, can get very busy but its not too crazy on a weekday! Don’t forget to buy a permit to drive on the beach. Fires are aloud but be careful and don’t start a bushfire! Also apparently there are a lot of sharks at this beach. Other than that its a really amazing beach to drive/ camp on!
