I stayed at the Red Cedar for a week for work, and I'm very glad that I made the right choice! The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a modern bathroom, blockout curtains (it's amazing how many motels have curtains which don't fit the window!) and it's nice and quiet considering its proximity to the highway. The owner/manager is absolutely lovely and very welcoming, with great recommendations of places to eat in town (the bakery on the corner is a must!). Would definitely stay here again!

Staying here tonight and the lady who manages motel, was lovely, made me feel so welcome, gave my daughter toys to play with, and paper and pencils to draw.

Was so happy to help us, and very kind. Defintley recommend this motel. 🙏 😊

It's a very basic motel rooms are small and boring looking What it lacks in raz it makes up with customer service. I felt like I was a returning customer who was well loved despite this being my first stay. The manager was very knowledgeable to the area. Rooms were cleaned well. The bed was very comfortable, more so than some 4 and 5 star hotels I have been in. I hope they spend some money and do the rooms up other then that would stay again

Loved this place ! Bec really makes you feel at home and welcome. Rooms are beautiful and clean as are the bathrooms. I will be back just because of Bec's service. The rooms are just a bonus.
Yes as are reviews say there is noise , but it does get quieter after about 9pm. Yes there's lights on outside in the car park , but the curtains worked a treat.
Bec goes above and beyond.
My new fave in musswellbrook.

Stayed here for 2 nights and is very budget friendly! The room was clean and tidy with a small little cabin but has what you need for a short stay. Probably best for those wanting to stop between traveling. I didn't notice the road noise as much staying over in the quiet period in the year. The bathroom looked recently done and was able to have a nice hot shower. The AC unit was enough to keep the room nice and cool. Bed wasn't the best but pretty good for the price so you can't really complain! Overall if your not too fussy and are looking for something cheap this will suit just fine for a short stay. From my understanding we were in the older section of the motel too.

Stayed 2 nights while visiting family in the area, the hosts were very welcoming and the room was lovely and clean. The bed was a bit hard but I slept fine. The shower was one of the best I've had in a motel, nice and hot with awesome pressure. The car park is a little tight but provided you can actually drive properly it isn't a problem, managed to park my 4 wheel drive ok. They're in the middle of renovating, updating bathrooms etc and I'll be back to check out a new room later in the year.

Swung through on a drive from Newcastle to Cairns. Modern, clean rooms (recently renovated), really comfy beds, hot showers and run by genuinely nice people. Leaps and bounds above any motel of similar price!
