Avoid this business at all costs. Negative treatment by staff on collection of hire items ruined the excitement for my engagement party and left me in tears. The many 1 star reviews are there for a reason. Absolutely horrible.

We have worked with Brad and the RBR team for a few years now as a Riverina wedding venue have had nothing but a great experience from day one. Brad has been a pleasure to work with, showing great flexibility and professionalism in our dealings. The team have gone out of their way to accommodate the changing, often last minute requests from our wedding couples especially over the last few years with restrictions effecting the wedding and event industry. We look forward to many years to come working with RBR party hire.

We recently engaged the team at R.B.R. party hire for our round 2 wedding after having to postpone due to Covid earlier 2020. Not only were the staff accommodating during unforeseen circumstances, they went over and above to make our day extra special the second time round.
As a very content customer, I can't recommend R.B.R highly enough on their compassion, professionalism and willingness to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
Looking forward to our next event as a returning customer.

This business has refused to refund a deposit paid for a booking which was cancelled by the venue due to COVID restrictions. Requests to use the deposit towards a smaller function have also been refused - the owner ‘requires’ that we spend at least the full amount quoted when the booking was made two years ago. Given the original booking was for a significant birthday, our original plans are no longer feasible.

RBR’s refund policy is at best unethical and possibly illegal. We’ll see what Consumer Affairs Victoria has to say.

As indicated in other reviews you should use this business AT YOUR OWN RISK. If plans change it appears that any monies paid to RBR will be forfeited.

Absolutely appalled at the way I was treated by this ‘family run and local small business’ who you assume to actually care about their customers.

I hired a jukebox/karaoke machine from RBR for my 25th birthday party which cost me $200. While setting up the machine we realised not all songs had lyrics which had not been explained to us and the AUX port we specifically asked about did not work. I messaged my friend who worked there who offered to replace the machine for me if I took it back and picked up the other one (which baring in mind I had to borrow a car for) my party had also already started at this point and I had guests arriving so this was impossible.
After speaking to the owner multiple times he was very rude and abrupt and would not listen to anyones side of the story other than his. He was completely in the right and tried to guilt trip me using Covid as an excuse. Everyone in the world has been through covid and in the end all I was asking for was $50 off of the $200 I spent and they could not afford that. In my eyes a business should not be running if you cannot rectify your mistakes with a refund. The manager also then threatened to not give me my $50 bond back even though he has no legal right to do so and I signed a contract.
I bet RBR haven’t had any complaints like this as they bully their customers into not doing anything by threatening to keep their money. Absolutely disgusted and I don’t see why the wife is the one who replies to the reviews when she has not been involved in any communication and has no idea what is going on.
I would never recommend this place and I can’t believe this family who are meant to be high up in the church and community treat people like this and think it’s okay. Very unprofessional.

Scott was great in helping me organise a 60th/21st at our farm. We were so happy with everything. Wes and the blokes were great in setting the marquee, huge dance floor and luxe loos up a day earlier than booked on a Thursday. Everything was down and gone by Monday 11am. We loved the Tent and pole set up as it was great for decorating. Scott was very patient with all our changes before the big day.
