Ratio Specialty Café is a great place for coffee lovers. The café is clean, modern, and has a calm and cozy feeling. It’s a nice spot to relax or meet friends.

I ordered a latte, and it was amazing. The milk was smooth and creamy, and the coffee had a rich, balanced taste. The barista also made beautiful latte art, which made the drink look special. The flavors were perfect not too strong, not too light.

They also have tasty foods, which goes well with the latte. The service is fast and friendly, and the quality of coffee is very high. If you love lattes and beautiful coffee art, Ratio Specialty Café is a must-visit!

Sweet cafe with very polite staff. The coffee was very good. I had a short macchiato and like it so much I went back the next day and had a cappuccino with eggs Benedict and a bee sting. My friend had a short macchiato and agreed the coffee was great. The vegetarian eggs Benedict was delicious, the bee sting could have been fresher (I was eyeing it off the day before) but was still delicious.

There is nice art on the wall and a community feel with crochet groups and families dining in.

Reviews suggested it would be a good experience but the number may be a little overinflated. Plenty of other guests in attendance all looking relaxed and like regulars. I however, came to find a quality coffee and did not receive it. The Kindred beans that appear to be used here were over-extracted resulting in the bubbled crema. As you would expect this caused a sour flavour and was not enjoyable.
Curiously a wait staff member asked about my experience and when I said 'could be better' he smiled and walked away. Perhaps he misheard me, or perhaps he wasn't expecting a negative response.
The other thing I noticed was that the till / reception area would operate better if it was either central or reversed. Currently it is down the end of the bench near the wall which results in an awkward bottleneck if people are queuing. And it also means that no one is likely to sit on the window bench seats provided there.

It is so nice to get attention to detail when being served. It’s is so hard to find a cafe that will make sure to bring you water and sugar. Previous owners would always forget, even though I was a regular. Renz and staff make you feel valued and looked after. Cafes in general have gone up in price because of overall cost of living, so I find that the amazing coffee here and service make it so worth it!

Very happy we have this cafe just around the corner. Good coffee in lovely mugs, I tried lemon&rhubarb ?cake and it's so yum. I may try some wines next time 🙂
