Booking was a breeze, and the reception was warm and welcoming. The hotel is ideally located just a short walk from the main jetty of Henley Beach, surrounded by a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The modern décor adds to the charm, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

Now, onto the food—classic Australian pub fare done right. The chicken parmigiana was spot on: well-seasoned, the perfect thickness, and incredibly juicy. The sauce and cheese complemented it beautifully, making each bite satisfying. The chips were legit—crispy and well-cooked. The fish and chips were another highlight—light, flaky, and perfectly cooked.

If you’re looking for a simple, well-executed pub meal in a fantastic location, this is the place to go. Plus, being within walking distance of Henley Beach, the main jetty, and all the great ice cream shops nearby makes it even better. Definitely a solid spot for a casual meal with a great beachside vibe!

We were at the Ransgate for a friends birthday dinner. We had the most delightful waitress Rebecca Halloway. Would just like to say she was attentive to all off our needs. We felt rreally well looked after. We also spoke to her manager to let him know how happy we were with the service. And the food was awsome as well. Thanks again regards Trev Woithe

I love this place. Massive shout out to Joe. Joe’s the kind of bartender that makes you want to come back friendly, quick, and always up for a laugh. He keeps the atmosphere alive, remembers faces, and somehow manages to keep everything running smooth no matter how busy it gets.

You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it shows in the way he treats everyone. Top-notch service from a top bloke. Give that man a raise!

We took part in the Cocktail Trail on Saturday 5th July. Fantastic community event where I visited places I wouldn’t normally. The Ramsgate’s Ruby in Disguise cocktail was by far the best cocktail of the day (well done to Bailey).

Returned to the Ramsgate for food which was fantastic and served quickly despite how busy the venue was (we were advised that food could take longer than normal which was appreciated).

Well done to all the staff who served us with a smile on their faces and provided fantastic customer service when they were rushed off their feet.

I stopped by the ramsgate recently, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in town. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming — a perfect mix of cozy and lively. Whether you're out with friends or just looking for a laid-back place to unwind, this place hits the mark.

The drink selection is excellent, with a great variety of local craft beers, classic cocktails, and seasonal specials. The bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and even recommended a drink I’d never tried before — it was spot on.

There’s also a solid food menu. I ordered chicken parmi, and it was exactly what I needed to go with my pint. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor.

All in all, the Ramsgate has great service, great drinks, and great vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back — and bringing friends next time.

Really nice venue. Bar staff were very friendly and helped with suggestions. Perfect location right next to the beach! Always love seeing hands on managers. Matthew was great! Highly recommend!
