What an amazing time we had on our girls weekend away. Sarah was so accommodating, and extremely pleasant and kind. Had an absolutely wonderful day tasting Heathcote wines with Sarah. We never felt rushed, tons of time at each place to relax and enjoy the full experience. Every winery we went to was five star! A memorable tour for our weekend away with friends in Nagambie.
Both Sarah and Olivia our drivers and guides were absolutely fantastic delivering such a personalised and exceptional experience .
The tour included Mitchelton Winery, a charcuterie and wine tasting experience at Fowles Winery and the unforgettable experience at Box Grove with the amazing Sarah Gough.
Both Sarah & Olivia’s knowledge of the area and of the wine region, coupled with there warm and personalised attention added to the enjoyment of our tour. Every June long weekend, a group of friends and myself spend a weekend up in Avenal enjoying all the local area and what it has to offer. We use rambling wine tours and continue to rebook as they deliver an exceptional service and create a tour that suits our needs and wants. Sarah ensures we have a fun day. The relationships she has formed with local wineries ensure we only receive the best experience. It always feels that it a friend taking us for the tour and that we can just fully soak up the atmosphere. Had an absolutely awesome day with Sarah on Tuesday. One of my absolute besties was visiting from Sydney and I wanted to show her what the region offers - she loves her wine and good food.
Sarah picked us up and off we went to Tahbilk for tastings. I never tire of this wonderful winery and what it has to offer. It is like going back in time. My partner even popped in to the cellar door to say hello. After numerous tastings and the purchase of GSM and Cab Franc we headed over to Fowles.
Kyle guided us through the tasting, then it was into the restaurant for a delicious lunch. Kyle organised our purchases throughout the duration so that they were ready when we departed.
Next was Box Grove where the amazing Sarah Gough took us on a journey through her wonderful wines. A one on one tasting with her is an absolute must.
Rambling Wine Tours owner, Sarah D'Orria is more than a natural at what she does. So engaging and warm, with a more than an in depth knowledge of wineries in various regions. Cannot recommend Rambling enough. A great day out. It felt like we were touring with a friend.

We had the most wonderful experience with Rambling Wine Tours. Sarah planned such a wonderful day and operates her company with the utmost focus on customer service. The vans are luxurious and spacious and extremely clean. Olivia was our tour guide and she was absolutely incredible. She picked us up from our hotel and took us to three wineries in the Nagambie/Goulburn Valley region, all very different and offering different selections of both wines and experiences. Our first stop was a grazing style lunch and tasting, followed by two more wonderful tastings. Olivia is incredibly knowledgeable both about wine and the local region and was able to give us a huge wealth of knowledge at each stop. We had the best day and will be highly recommending Rambling Wine tours to all of our family and friends. Thank you so much Sarah and Olivia!!
