Looking back at my wedding, choosing Rachelle as our planner was most important decision my wife and I could have made. Before we found her, we were feeling overwhelmed by the seemingly impossible to-do list and endless decisions to make around planning for a wedding.

Once Rachelle came into the picture, she shared her experience and wisdom with us, helping us focus on the important questions, organize our tasks systematically in a spreadsheet, and stay accountable to our schedule in the months leading up to our wedding day. She went above and beyond in so many ways, including meeting up with us multiple times in person for venue walkthroughs, joining us for menu tastings, referring us to fantastic vendors (photography, videography, florals, cake, DJ, string duo), leading our wedding rehearsal the day prior, and the list goes on. Rachelle is clearly passionate about her work, and we felt that she was just as invested in making our wedding flawless as we were.

We had high expectations for our big day, and those expectations were surpassed, thanks to the hard work of Rachelle and her team. She did a perfect job coordinating everything with our venue and our many vendors so that we could enjoy the day without any worries. She also surprised us with additional items beyond our contract, like stylish name cards, welcome signs, decor, candles, baskets which helped elevate the experience for us and all of our guests. It was the best day of our lives, and we could not have done it without Rachelle.

Rachelle started with a consultation to get to know us and walked us through her services. As a creative myself, I had a vision for our wedding and Rachelle was such a great guide to all of it. She helped us with finding a few of our wedding vendors. Even when we had a mid-planning venue crisis, Rachelle calmly helped us through the emergency and we were able to find a better venue for our wedding day. Throughout the planning process, I had so many questions and needed a thinking partner when it came to my DIY projects, and because she is so approachable and professional, she was able to answer all my questions and put all my nerves and stress to ease. Rachelle made sure to include all the details that were important to us, from our Filipino cultural symbols, to making sure all the design details tied together. Because of Rachelle, our wedding vision/dream came to life!
For us, we needed a wedding planner we could depend on for our big day, and Rachelle (and her team) definitely delivered. She and her team were so attentive to all the details for the rehearsal and the day of. Throughout the day of our wedding, we felt reassured as the bride and groom multiple times. She made sure we ate dinner (when most couples don’t have time to eat during their wedding day), and she was so attentive to our family and friends and kept us on track throughout the whole day/night at the reception. During the set up and parts of the night, there were a few hiccups, but thanks to Rachelle and her wonderful team, the issues were solved almost immediately, and she made sure we, as the couple, were able to focus on enjoying our reception and our special day with our guests. Her team went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for all their support on our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planning team and wedding coordinator.
Rachelle is a passionate wedding planner and designer, and it is so evident from the first time you meet her. To this day, we still recommend her to our friends and family planning their own weddings or events. It’s been about a month since our wedding, and we still talk about how amazing our wedding turned out. We really could not have done it without the guidance, patience, and expertise of Rachelle.
We first saw Rachelle a few years back at one of our good friends’ wedding, and so when we started planning for our wedding, she was one of the first vendors we considered because of how much of an impact she left behind. We chose her at the beginning of our wedding planning journey and let me tell you, it was truly a journey. We started our wedding planning with a different vision in mind but realized we wanted to incorporate both of our Kenyan and Indonesian traditions throughout our wedding day. This was no easy feat, and we put Rachelle through so many changes up until the wedding week, but she never batted an eye.
Amidst the anxiety and feeling overwhelmed that naturally comes with wedding planning, we’ve always felt secure and at peace whenever we communicated with Rachelle. Whenever we had a question or needed advice, Rachelle was always there to give us sound advice. We trusted her completely with every decision that was made, and that was important to us because obviously, we’ve never planned a wedding before!
The wedding day itself turned out amazing and throughout the day, we found ourselves complimenting how effortless Rachelle and her team worked. Our timeline was jampacked and somehow it worked out beautifully thanks to Rachelle and her team. If you are looking for a wedding planner, do not hesitate to choose her. Trust me, you will need a wedding planner that can get you through your highs and lows, and who is completely invested in you and your partner. There was never once when I doubted Rachelle, and we were so blown away at how everything just worked out at our wedding day. Thank you, Rachelle and your team! We would choose you a thousand times again!

Having Rachelle as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions that we made. She was recommended to us by our photographers, and from the moment we had our first meeting everything just clicked. Her professionalism and communication with us was excellent! We appreciated how organized she was with all her excel documents, and how readily available she was to us. We felt as though we were never alone when it came to planning our wedding. We understand that as a wedding planner, you can have multiple clients at a time, but truthfully, we felt as though she was completely invested in our wedding as if it were her own.

Her attention to detail and creativity was extremely helpful to us with all of our DIY projects. She was able to understand our vision of what we wanted and helped us bring it to life. She shared amazing ideas and vendor recommendations. Rachelle has an amazing reputation and numerous connections in the industry.

Overall, she’s passionate about her work and truly cares about her clients. She’s the sweetest person you can ever meet, but will make sure that everything is held to the highest standard.

On the actual day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about a single thing and we were able to enjoy and soak in the entire day. Rachelle made sure that everything ran smoothly and all the details and decor were executed to our exact vision. I’m sure there were things that were happening in the background but she was calm the entire time and we never knew about it. We had full trust in her and cannot recommend her enough.

Our biggest and most meaningful thank you goes out to Rachelle. We were so blessed to be referred to her by a family member who hired her for their own wedding last year. Honestly, it felt like all the stars aligned for us after meeting Rachelle. We are forever grateful for everything she did for us to make our wedding day a successful and more importantly joyous celebration with our closest family and friends.

A little background- I started wedding planning at the beginning of May, and we met/hired Rachelle at the beginning of July. From the initial meeting, we felt like she had our best interests at heart. I'm a naturally indecisive person, so we didn't have any vendors super secured by the time we hired her, but that worked out perfectly because she gave us referrals for a florist, photographer, photobooth, and cake/dessert. We will forever be in awe of how easy and great it was to work with our vendor team, and how beautiful the venue looked with all the decorations. Not only would we highly recommend Rachelle as a wedding planner to any of our family/friends, but we would recommend every single one of the vendors she referred us to!

We also appreciate Rachelle taking into account our budget. She provided easy instructions for a little DIY stationary project that I honestly enjoyed doing, and it turned out so pretty. I was proud and happy to display it on our guest tables 🙂

What we are grateful for the most is her HEART, and how she pours everything she has into her events (c'mon look at all these positive reviews and her work on her social media). She is just a genuinely caring person. I can 1000% say that I had NO WORRIES on my wedding day because of Rachelle. My husband and I were able to happily soak in every moment. Her day-of assistants, Jessica and Nellie, were so sweet and helpful as well.

I can keep going on about all the amazing things Rachelle did for us, but I guess this review is long enough lol. If you're thinking of hiring her, just do it. She has so much professional insight and experience, and is just an easygoing and kind person to work with. She was determined to make sure our wedding day was amazing. There are probably other little things/ background work that we didn't even realize she did to make the day go smoothly. For that and everything else, THANK YOU RACHELLE!!! We truly mean it! Rachelle was AMAZING! From our first chat on zoom, to executing every last little detail on our wedding day, Rachelle upheld our vision and kept us organized and on track. Our wedding was destination, which comes with unique challenges. Rachelle didn’t bat an eye! She is kind, detail oriented, and connected to great vendors. Being from New Jersey, we are so happy we decided to have our wedding on the West Coast because of Rachelle of Radiant Love Events. It can already be overwhelming planning a wedding in itself, let alone out of state, but to work along the side of Rachelle during the wedding planning process was OUTSTANDING. Every vendor we did (or did not book) for our wedding day also said high remarks about her and mentioned they loved working with her too. We immediately knew from the beginning we can confidently trust Rachelle, but the vendors validated it.

Rachelle is thorough and creative from start to finish. Communicating with her was easy and clear even with the time difference. She was able to help us brainstorm our ‘adventure travel’ theme for our wedding and if we got stuck in our planning process she immediately had a plan or already thought of it in advance. On the wedding day, she brought our vision to life and everything was going so smoothly we were ahead of schedule! Rachelle and her assistant Jessica took care of us throughout the night by making sure we ate the food served. If they had a slight feeling we were tense, they knew the perfect fix! And refilled our drinks haha. Rachelle worked so well behind the scenes with our vendors that we were surprised with how well the wedding was unfolding, especially as we look back thinking it was all written down on a spreadsheet.

It truly was an amazing experience for not only us, but also our guests. Our bridal party didn’t feel like they had to worry at all and our guests loved everything about our wedding ceremony and reception. Nobody wanted the night to end and our family and friends are still talking about our wedding til this day. Our wedding really couldn’t have gone as planned and more if it weren’t for Rachelle. We can't wait to catch up with her the next time we are back in California!
