A lovely roomy and quiet apartment well situated for walking to shops or taking public transport. We had a car however and there was ample free parking next to the Quest. Having arrived quite early, staff kindly messaged us when the room was ready. Being a very hot weekend, the aircon In both living area and bedroom was excellent. My only quibbles, the couch needed more depth to be truly comfy and the shower soap dispenser needed refilling. We would certainly stay here again..

We stayed at Quest Ballarat Station for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby, and our experience was fantastic. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early, which was a huge convenience. The room was spotless, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The service was top-notch, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect, close to everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Ballarat.

We stayed during the Labour Day weekend, which was really really hot in Ballarat. Our room was lovely and cool, and it was really nice to get back there for a break!||Local was great, very close to town. We were given a list of recommendations for food, great suggestions.||Car park was really worth the fee, easy access and nice sized spots (we have a big car!)||Check-in and check-out was super easy :-)||Thank you Quest, we will be back!

I love the idea of this Hotel, and it looks amazing, until the trains keep coming throughout the night. I woke up at 1.30am from the noise, though I was in a room facing the railway tracks. Also, the shower is not awesome for women who don't want to get their hair wet (me included). It's very old-school, and doesn't have a separate attachment, just this rain shower situation. So, I've put some photos up here, as I couldn't find any...
Also, the gym is great, but at 6am, the central air conditioning didn't come on. It got very smelly and stifling with us 1 woman and 2 men in there. Management needs to review the time that the air conditioning kicks in. Service was awesome though... So, it could be great, but...

Quest Ballarat Station met all our requirements (except an in suite coffee maker), fresh new design, stylish, comfortable and a great location on the edge of the cbd in Soldiers Hill. Close to/adjacent to some fabulous bars, restaurants, the historic station & shopping. Quest Ballarat Station will be an automatic choice when we return to Ballarat again. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

Five star for the room One star for the service.
Unfortunately, we had a bit of a bad experience with the service from the moment we arrived.
A young lady at the service desk gave us our key to enter the facility. Unfortunately, we got stuck in the lift due to having the wrong key. Eventually, upon entering our room, we went downstairs to the car park to get the rest of our belongings only to find out our key cards wouldn’t work and we couldn’t get back in.
Had to ring the service desk for them to come down and help us out. The young lady accused us of having our key card too close to our phone and that is possibly why our key cards weren’t working? She then doublechecked with the key cards to make sure they weren’t working, which belittled us a little. Ok? My daughter and son-in-law were staying at the same venue and they came downstairs to the car park to help us get back in. It was then that my son-in-law mentioned that he did not have to pay for underground car parking and the young lady said that he cannot do that and has to go and pay got a little bit heated. Later in the afternoon, we needed the air conditioning on as the room was too hot. We had the sliding door open to the balcony as the air conditioning would not engage. The young lady again came upstairs to inform us that the sliding door had to be closed for the air-conditioning to work. We did not know this. A little condescending, customer service not great would never go back there unfortunately although the room and facility was beautiful. It only takes one bad experience to put you off. My daughter and son-in-law were also upgraded to an apartment room on the time of arrival by another person at the service desk and paid the same amount that we paid for a studio apartment.

Service with these guys is excellent. Good rooms, outstanding service, and a great location. Recommended. It's my go to in Ballarat. Make it yours. You won't be disappointed.
