What great service QLD Rail Townsville travel office and in particular to customer service agent - Tracey Z....... We rang early morning to find seats on the Tilt Train (always a challenge) and had the good fortune to find Tracey who took care of everything for us. She was warm and friendly, totally professional, quick and efficient, Such a joy these days to find text-book customer service and were most grateful. Very interesting walk back in time. In most other cities this unusable railway would have been demolished for flats....awesome to see some heritage larger than a plaque.

Excellent service and communication. Online tracker so you can see if your train is on schedule. Excellent entertainment menu on board. Comfortable roomy seating. The food and beverage selection on board is ample and priced well for all budgets.

Rail travel is a great relaxing way to travel, looking out the windows at the ever changing scenery. The sights you see that you don't in a car. The dinning car offers a great menu to choose from. If you are lucky enough to be in the rail beds then this is luxury, the menu offers a wide range of meals all delivered to your seat. I could go on but the best way is to try rail travel.
