Great museum, it is very well laid out with good access to all exhibits. Wheel chair acces
s makes it a good place to visit for those with mobility issues. Several hands on areas for children to learn about the historical significance of this area. A beautiful cafe and gift shop on site enhances this venue.

Well laid out showing fay to day life before motorised transport, trucks took over horde drawn transport. Great restaurant from just a relaxing coffee & cake to a full menu. There is also a workshop showing and teaching the old skills being used in the restoration of the old coaches, buggies etc.

Interesting display, with many coaches. There is a sign out the front saying "free entry" however you do have to pay to enter the museum section.

I came here with my son, sister and some friends from visiting Harvey Bay. My sister and I got in for free as we are locals but the fee for visitors in minimal, $12.50.
We really enjoyed the museum, all the difference coaches, the science room and the bugs were a hit. We finished our visit with a lovely coffee and some lunch at the cafe. We all had a really nice day!

A fabulous museum that I absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Toowoomba. There are so many wonderful exhibits to see, including work being done by craftspeople carrying on the skills of artisans of the past, work including weaving, woodworking to make carriage wheels and other items. The museum houses an amazing collection of carriages, buggies, jinkers, drays etc and other modes of pre automobile transport. The quality of the workmanship, care & attention given to every exhibit is credit and a testament to each and every person involved in providing this experience to the public.

The museum is trip down the memory lane. The story of cobb and Co and evolution of horse drawn carts through the years is mesmerising. The workshop where Everthing is restored is a great place to learn some old techniques before technology took over. The science section is icing on the cake. Great for the kids to learn some physics in actual settings. Please take some time to pay a visit and you won't be disappointed... PS.. They serve great coffee in the cafe😊😁
