On arrival, I found our host to be very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in #16 and the room was very clean and is newly renovated. I liked the little touches that not a lot of motels add, like free cookies, breakfast bowls and a coffee machine. The towels were top quality, bathroom well designed, and I was surprised to find the toilet had its own private room within the bathroom, great idea.The motel’s location is central to everything, just 1-2 minutes drive from cafes, supermarkets and clubs, not to mention being just across the road from the bay itself. The only negative, and this is my personal preference, I’m not keen on rain shower heads when trying not to get your hair wet. A very minor issue.

A wonderful king size oversized room that was incredibly quiet and very welcomed for our one-night stay. Very nice shower with a clean and tidy accommodation.

Very nice welcome from staff. Rooms are modern and updated. Very happy with my one night stay. Location is walkable into town. Very good value for money.

Very nice, clean, smelling place.
I really couldn't see anything wrong... I think the only thing missing is a BBQ area. But it has outdoor shaded tables.

Waterfront & perfect! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and looked very newly renovated/refit. Absolute bang for your buck. Even had a coffee machine with a couple of pods. Furniture seemed really new & well designed. Loved it.

Room is great and the location is fantastic. I understand about the restaurant but now they don't even provide a continental breakfast. They could still do it if people pre-ordered.

We spent one night here on our way north to Sydney and were not disappointed by the quality of our room, the bed and the amenities. In fact, the bathroom was the most modern and stylish of any motel we have stayed in anywhere in the world.||Yes, it is a motel and is run as one, i.e. limited reception hours, no restaurant/snack bar, no services. The two-storey building is in typical motel style with parking at your door. It is on the coastal road, the ground floor rooms having no direct view of the bay and perhaps the same for the upper floor rooms.||The location is OK, but just a kilometre or so from the main shops and restaurants, so a 15-minute walk or two minutes by car. The hotel that’s actually a motel and the unsmiling receptionist whose peace was clearly disturbed by our arrival causes me to give the Quays three stars instead of the four it could have got.

We LOVED our short stay at Quays! The room was spotlessly clean, modern and the bed was really comfortable. Rob gave great recommendations for local dining and we were happy to be able to get dinner, drinks and a morning coffee at JJ’s, which is virtually straight across the road.
