This ghost encounters tour was so interesting and lots of fun. Jess was our guide and she was very informative and told us some great spooky stories. I highly recommend this tour if you’re in Sydney.

Spooky, Fascinating & Unforgettable!

If you're looking for a unique, thrilling, and history-rich experience, the Q Station Ghost Tour is an absolute must! The mix of eerie atmosphere, gripping stories, and hands-on tools made for a night I won’t forget.

Our guides, Amy and Mel, were incredible—they set the mood perfectly, blending historical facts with just the right amount of suspense. Their storytelling made every stop along the way come alive.

We visited a couple of locations—each one creepier than the last:

🔹 The Shipping Container – This was right at the start, and it didn’t take long for the weirdness to kick in. I felt something I couldn’t see, except for a mist in front of my face that lingered for a moment before disappearing. An unsettling way to begin the night!

🔹 The Gravedigger’s Cottage – The highlight for me. The energy in this place was intense, and let’s just say things happened in there. The EMF reader (which picks up energy activity) would not stop beeping. It was going OFF! Lots of creaking and there was definitely an intense energy. Once I stepped outside, I felt noticeably lighter, like I’d walked out of something heavy.

🔹 The Shower Block – A chilling reminder of what quarantined passengers had to endure. The thought of people being scrubbed down in harsh conditions already set the scene, but stepping inside with only a torchlight? That’s next-level creepy. My husband and I walked down the hall hand-in-hand, my breath stuck in my throat.

Throughout the tour, Amy and Mel shared real past encounters from guests and staff, making every building feel even more alive (in a ghostly way). The tour itself does involve walking between locations, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing kids or elderly guests. That said, the pacing was great, and I didn’t mind the walk at all (and I wouldn't call myself fit!).

Would I recommend this? Absolutely. Come along with an open mind. Whether you're a skeptic or a believer, it's a fascinating, spine-chilling, and fun experience. I've already told my friends and family to book it. Huge thanks to Amy and Mel—you both made this an unforgettable night! 👻✨

**Parking on-site available. There is a shuttle that picks you up from reception and takes you to the landing where the tour begins.

This was such an incredible experience. I went in with a little bit of disbelief and came out a believer. Terry was a great guy but a lot of history and we were very intrigued. A lot of us experienced some feelings which I don’t want to spoil the tour for anyone else, but go ahead and book this take the ferry over to Manly and an Uber up to this, and it would be a very, very enjoyable and informative evening.

I've been on the paranormal investigation tour a few times now, and I enjoy coming to the 730pm to approx 11pm with the guides. I find the Grave Diggers cottage, and the shower block generates the most consistent activity when I'm there. We've had the opportunity to also go to the museum and also the kitchen/ dining hall too. All the guides are knowledgeable and professional, though I enjoy Melinda's structure and style more, I think mainly due to equipment being better set, which means we can complete on time. They have a good range of paranormal equipment, emf readers, spirit boxes, SLR cameras, etc. When you get to reception, the shuttle takes you down to the Q station, and you get returned back. During daylight savings, you can get awesome views of the beach while you're there, lots of parking, and there is a small bar/restaurant there if you need to eat prior. Q station is one of my favourite paranormal events. No night is the same. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Fun and entertaining and educational experience!

While we didn't see anything ghostly on this tour, it didn't matter as it was a beautiful location with an excellent guide, Chris who clearly knew his history and was an amazing and fun storyteller. Sure, there were some jumpscares and shared ghost stories from previous visitors to heighten the eerie mood but that added to the entertainment factor. All up, kinda happy we didn't experience anything truly paranormal but I wouldn't stay at Q Station at all as the whole area has an eerie quality. Anyhow, do the ghost tour and hopefully u get Chris, an awesome guide!

The place was intense so much emotion and the history given by our tour guide Jess at every place we stopped was spot on and she told us every story as we went through even letting the group engage with each other and encouraged us to voice what we felt or experienced in each location.
We went to 7 different places including the drs cottage, hospital, shower block, gas shower, incinerator room, next to the shower block is another room with some artefacts from the q station itself and a history timeline, walked for 2.5hrs all through the grounds heard stories whilst on the walks too.
The cottage I think I was the most uncomfortable in there but I was like well this is what we are here for, I definitely felt a bit uncomfortable and I just felt on gaurd.
The shower block well that was veryyyyy interesting and now can't wait to go back and do the tour again.

Best experience ever, stayed one night in the Second class cabins... What a mistake..we should have booked TWO nights at a minimum.
The grounds are huge and we felt we missed so much with out limited stay so we are already looking at booking a two night stay in the near future.

Had a Ghost tour with Snowy, 10/10. He's so informative and our attention was very much captured for the whole 2.5 tour!

Whilst the history was interesting, the ghost tour part of this evening was not as exciting as I would have hoped. Our guide was knowledgeable. However, his delivery was a little pretentious at times. My rating of this tour is unfortunately skewed by the fact that we were moved to a later time prior to arriving and after completing the tour at such a late hour was regretting the delayed start.

I definitely have an open mind to the spirit world, but for whatever reason, there was no connection on this tour
