Room was fairly standard Motel room, nothing special but clean. Could have done with some cutlery and crockery to make things a bit easier. Good location and friendly service

Deluxe queen room was modern and fitted with your standard model room quality of fittings. Room was situated on the ground floor and set way back under the awning, combined with poor lighting in the room it had the feeling of being in a basement. Mobile phone reception also suffers because of this, thankfully the free Wi-Fi was decent.
The bed felt like it had a plastic mattress protector on and the pillows were on par with most motels.
All in all, it wasn't a bad experience, there are just better options in town that are priced similarly.

I travel to Tamworth weekly on business and have stayed at various hotels in the area, this Hotel has proven to be by far the best, the rooms are well equipped and exceptionally clean, Annie on reception is an asset to the hotel very helpful, polite, and efficient.

The Restaurant is a newly opened venture and I’m sure it will meet your expectations in due course.

Ashby House is known as Quality Inn; Ashby House is on a main road known as Ebsworth St in Tamworth. The Ashby House us very well run, with Leo, the manager, in control. Ashby Inn has him as calculated mid-east manager; Leo keeps up as manager and looks country manager, among other things. The restaurant is also enjoyable for guests. Leo helped us arrange transportation and tourism attractions. Prices are reasonable.

I was booked into stay on the 26th. Got home from work on the 25th to find our elderly dog was not good. Rang the hotel as soon as we found out his condition from our vet. We couldn't put him into the kennel in the condition he was in. Being less than 24 hours (21 1/2) notice they told me no refund.... If I knew that I wouldn't of rang and just not shown up. Now they will rent out the room and double dip.

Booked for a weekend away; booking was cancelled less then 3 days out due to a “system error” however could find the same room available on multiple booking platforms for $100 more expensive.

Our first time at the Ashby and it was pretty nice. The rooms have been fairly recently renovated and are clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed is a small queen and they could have gone larger. The reception was excellent, friendly, helpful and effiicent. It is on a busy road but the rooms are quiet.||The air conditioner was a bit noisy/wheezy and the rooms are dark due to the good undercover car parking shadowing the rooms.||The location is good with an easy walk into town.
