Had a great day out on the river yesterday - the volunteers who ran the trip were really friendly & had lots of interesting things to tell us. The 2 course lunch at Clayton Bay was delicious - absolutely huge portion of fish & chips!! A fun day out & great value for money.

What a perfect Sunday to spend aboard the glorious 150 yr old Oscar W! Magical experience on the river, wonderful staff and caretakers of this magnificent boat.
We really enjoyed the cruise as did our Granddaughter ( although a little shy )
She was extremely excited and enjoyed every minute of it. A huge thank you to everyone who work on Oscar for making our day a memorable one ❤🙏
We will definitely be going again & we highly recommend to all.

Oscar W you could far more boating friendly if you didn’t take most of both sides of the Clayton jetty just to consider other boaters enjoying the area.

best value for money day trip to clayton bay plus lunch at sails tavern you realy get time to enjoy and relax on board and a fantastic meal awaits you. Next is 2 hour twighlight cruise brig your own platter and wine great way to enjoy family and friends in the ambience of a very old steam powered paddle boat

It's great that they allow the general public to explore the boat whilst in dock. An interesting and historic place to visit. Excellent for a cruise as well, I'm sure.

We love going out on the Oscar W. The grand children enjoy being able explore the boat and going cruising on the river. Thoroughly recommend this for all ages.

As part of the VIP experience for the Steam ranger for my 40th..I highly recommend doing this, the staff are amazing and I even got a picture of me "driving " the boat 😁
