Wow Dani, you were absolutely incredible as the stylist for my bride for the wedding that I was the wedding planner for in May 2024. The styling component was crucial to her, and you delivered flawlessly. You listened, understood, and provided exactly the advice she needed. As part of those meetings, I witnessed how beautifully you made her feel comfortable and relaxed.

As a wedding planner, it's essential that our clients choose companies that can fulfil all their promises, and you exceeded every expectation. We had to cancel our contract with PLS as there were other charges not disclosed that were to be added to our package despite PLS reassuring that no additional costs such as rigging fees or charges would be involved for setting up our event at our venue. They re assured this as they had done “several similar jobs and shouldn’t expect additional charges.”

At the time the staff and manager admitted there was an error in the contract produced and agreed to issue a full refund. When I contacted to ask what the shortfall in the deposit refunded was for their explanation was “costs associated for dealing with our venue” despite the event being >3 months out.

I advised the manager that if he could prove this was the case we would be happy to accept this however we never received a response. I attempted to contact PLS several times and my emails were forwarded to the manager however I never received a call back.

I didn’t want to leave this review here but hopefully no one experiences the same issues we did.

How can I describe how amazing Dani and the team from prolight and sound are when there are just no words to use as I’m still speechless!

From the moment I got in contact with Dani she Instantly was helpful, accomodating and would answer each question and make each idea come to life there was nothing that was to hard or a question she would not answer! She thought outside the box and also accommodated for our budget!

Dani and the team delivered a wedding styling out of this world and I never thought in my life that I would have a wedding reception as beautiful and magical than what was displayed on the day!

When I saw our room for the first time I was instantly in tears and my husband and I were speechless and I did have to ask if This was our wedding and if I was in the right room!

To the whole team at prolight and sound and specially to Dani my Husband and I would love to thank you for the bottom of our hearts for delivering a wedding that we didn’t even dream of! We wish you and the business the very much success, abundance and prosperity in the many long years to come!

A few weeks ago, we eventually managed to have the wedding, which was in the making for two+ years (thanks to Covid).

The wedding was made a memorable event for our family and friends mainly due to the incredible work done by Pro Light & Sound .
The wedding was an outdoor event (in a homestead off Geelong) which meant that it required expertise in every aspect, and we are so glad that Pro Light & Sound was there to fulfill every need including that of our other suppliers who relied heavily on Stav as the go to person to fix any of their own issues and nothing was beyond Stav’s expertise. Stav and his Pro Light & Sound team helped everyone at the event without any hesitation.

Stav and his team worked tirelessly for three days leading up to the wedding and was the key in making everything work.
Pro Light & Sound is a professional , very well organised company who went well beyond their scope of work to help everyone and thank you Stav for making it all happen.

I would not hesitate to recommend Pro Light & Sound to anyone, and I can assure that you will NOT be let down. I certainly will be engaging Pro Light & Sound for our next function.

Thank you for amazing & beautiful works you guys have done for our wedding. As a wedding photographer, I has seen enough weddings but still amazed by how my own wedding look. The chandeliers and canopy definitely are highlight, all my guests & family said how beautiful it was and keep asking for recommendation. I've left an extensive review about this company and its shady practises yet to only find that review being removed by the owner. Again dodgy. Unfortunately this company has gone to the *** since they've changed owners. The new owner will profile you and charge you upon your situation. If you ask to hire two powerd speakers a mixer and a projector for a night for a wedding you'll get charged $2000 if you ask for the same equipment for a mobile DJ gig its $300 .. that's dodgy practices. When you tell them your not interested in there offer the owner will go behind your back knowingly that you where not happy with the quote and will abuse your situation by getting your wife to pay for it over the phone without your approval or speaking to you first. I've never heard of a company charging this much for two speakers and a projector for one night. And than not even setting it up so the sound input would go through the projector speaker instead of the mixer and stereo.. never heard of a company charging $389 for the lense of a projector and charging for power cables .. avoid these guys. Unfortunately the new owner is going to run this company to the ground. Shame because I enjoyed their services for years prior.

I engaged this company on the advice of the venue I had booked for a fundraising event. Communication was very slow from the outset and getting responses to queries took days and much chasing. Then on the day of the event, what was promised wasn't delivered (I was advised it wasn't possible despite them having done a site inspection prior to the event). During the event the microphones failed. They weren't tested pre event which is the usual process and our speakers were put in a very embarrassing position. Both the lapel mics and the hand helds failed. When I sent an email complaining about the level of service (or lack thereof) both pre event and on site, I received NO response!!! This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with an AV company - and I've dealt with ALOT of them. Very disappointed.
