When my (now) wife Anjali and I got engaged in April 2023, we were set on hosting an epic wedding to share our love with all of our family and friends. We met Priya and the Premini team later that year and it was the beginning of a beautiful, life long friendship.

The best part of planning an Indian & Filipino wedding is that there wasn't necessarily a blueprint. Priya's superpower is (and continues to be) building a genuine, authentic relationship with her clients. Our early discovery meetings were focused on understanding what was important to us and our families. It was pretty incredible to see how our brainstorming sessions, vendor meetings and even pie in the sky ideas turned into an all-out game plan for our wedding week. This included a thematic mood board for our guests to help set the stage on what to expect (and also what to wear!).

We chose Glenmere Mansion in Hudson Valley as our venue of choice, as it gave us flexibility to host all of our events over the course of a weekend. Our goal was to celebrate different parts of our culture, which of course meant food, drinks and music were near the top of the priority list. This included a Haldi, a "Fiesta Sangeet" (that ended with a Vegas style pool party), a baraat, an Indian ceremony and a more "western" / Christian ceremony. Our reception was pretty lit and we ended up partying until 3am. Even though it was a jam packed few days, it was so worth it to see everything come together!

As anyone planning a wedding knows, you probably make a few hundred decisions leading up to your big day. Our best one was going with Premini.

Even though our wedding was 5 months ago, we're still reminiscing and reliving the moments through all of the photos, videos and Instagram reels. Keep on crushing!!
