We had the $59 set menu as we thought it'll be a great way to taste what dishes the restaurant has to offer. The food came promptly, drinks were great.
When we were served the pistachio tiramisu, the young female waitress slammed the plate on the table and plopped the spoon on the plate and walked away.
Overall the food was great and it was great service besides the dessert service. Would come again and try the rest of the menu as I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food that we did try.

My husband and I visited Postino Osteria for a recent date night. The atmosphere, décor and overall vibe were lovely. The restaurant had warm lighting, beautiful furnishings and a relaxed energy that made it feel inviting. We ordered a variety of dishes, from starters to desserts, but none truly stood out in flavour. While everything tasted nice, there were no show stopping dishes. The place certainly has the potential to be outstanding, but from our experience, we found the food to be very average. The service was a 10/10 though and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly!

We love Italian food and they didn’t disappoint. We tried a few dishes it was delicious.
The service was good but there was only 2 servers and 1 bartender to served so it’s a bit slow to serve all the diners.

We did the weekday $59 sharing menu winter special tonight and it was great value for money! It was my first time at the venue and I found it to be such a nice vibe, good service and great food and wine. We left feeling full, but also not overfull. Would recommend checking it out if you haven’t been already! A little gem of Summer Hill.

The food was excellent, although the range of dishes was limited. The wine list was extensive in terms of Italian wines, although the range of quality local wines was very limited. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and was near capacity on a Monday night. Some would rate the food 5 stars, but the limited menu stops me from awarding those 5 stars. Off-street parking is readily available, as is accessible access. The service was excellent, as was the atmosphere. This restaurant serves very authentic Italian dishes, and Summer Hill residents are very fortunate to have such a high quality Italian restaurant in their local area. Overall, highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.

Postino Osteria is a lovely restaurant with quality food and attentive service. The dishes were well-prepared, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout.

As a well-known restaurant, I came in with a bit of expectations. While everything was good, I was hoping for something a little more distinctive. We were seated outside in an area enclosed with thick translucent panels, but the view was underwhelming and slightly affected the overall atmosphere.

Still, it was a solid experience. I’m giving it 5 stars for the quality and care — I just personally wished for a touch more sparkle.

I had to debate if I gave this restaurant 3 or 4 stars but landed on 4 as the price made this meal good value. We went with the (special) $59 set menu with a side of truffle fries, thought I wouldn’t pay $89 for it as there are other restaurants that do better quality meals at that price. My favourite dishes were the crudo and dessert. The wagyu tonnato was ok but the tuna and sauce over powered the dish. The orecchiette pasta was on the salty side but the texture was lovely. The beef cheek was tender and soft but I was unsure of the texture of the sourdough, I think I would have just appreciated a normal mash or polenta. The pistacchio dessert was a nice way to finish the meal.

Great experience here. Lovely renovations since the last time visited.

I really liked the menu and the atmosphere here. The standout dish was the Moreton bug bay linguine. Great flavours throughout.
