If you’re thinking about POH for your wedding - DO IT!! We looked at a number of “blank canvas” venues before coming to the Post Office Hotel it was a no brainer to choose POH. The venue is beautiful, we chose to add florals and fairy lights but even with nothing it’s stunning. But aesthetics aside the team there is next level, truly the best in the business. Meg is an angel and answered all my questions (and there was a lot of them) and the team ensured everything ran smoothly. I felt our day was in the safest of hands. No question or request felt impossible (unlike what we experienced when touring other venues). We received SO many compliments from guests on the food, service and venue. It was honestly a dream and I’m SO INCREDIBLY happy we chose the Post Office Hotel for our wedding. Stop your search, choose the Post Office Hotel.

We celebrated a surprise birthday party in the Post Office Hotel function room. The staff were extremely accommodating and professional in the lead up to the event and throughout the night. Special thanks to Wesley who went out of his way to maintain the surprise element!
The dinner was delicious and plentiful. The service was second to none! So many guests commented on the lovely atmosphere and the beautiful space. We would thoroughly recommend POH.

So happy we booked a bijou wedding at POH. Convenient location for all guests, covered from the elements so no last minute panicking, and so much included in the package that we hardly had to worry about anything else.
The table setting and the ceremony space was absolutely beautiful and the rafters made it so easy for the florists to create our vision.
The food was incredible. Many of our guests have mentioned it’s the best wedding food they’ve had, especially the antipasto seafood table during cocktail hour. The cake - which is also included in the package and created by Zee Scott - was the best we’ve had.
Our coordinator Wesley must have been running around like a madman to chase things up for me and I’m so appreciative. It’s the little things you don’t think about until you’re in the moment that Wesley already has covered for you. He even walked down our aisle to deliver us a shot during our ceremony (and I’m very excited to see the photos and video of that).
Meg also communicated with me for months and months leading up to our day and flitted around making sure everything was perfect for us.

The best decision we ever made was booking our wedding at the Post Office Hotel! If you are looking for a venue that blends fun, style, warmth and joy, then this is it! From the moment we enquired, Meg and the team at the Post Office were friendly, knowledgeable and so generous in every interaction with us. Every single one of our queries was answered with care and patience and they went so far and beyond in making our day the beautiful day that it was. Nothing was ever a bother. Meg, our coordinator, handled everything for us including recommendations of local suppliers, run sheets, seating charts, styling and more. We had our ceremony on the beautiful deck as well as all of our photos in the surrounding streets and rooftop. All of our guests raved at how wonderful the food was and how friendly the staff were. The staff checked in with me and my now husband all night ensuring that we had eaten and had something to drink. The only thing I’m sad about is how quick it was over! We are so looking forward to coming back already. 100% would recommend!

We enjoyed our Xmas party at the Post Office Hotel. Good selection of food and drinks at decent prices. Generous serving and delicious. Excellent and friendly service. It wasn't too busy yet and the atmosphere was nice and casual. Parking was limited by 1 hour limit so you may need to park on nearby streets if you're staying longer.

From the absolute bottom of our very full hearts, thank you for the greatest wedding. From the ceremony on the deck to the reception, it was perfect.

From the first meeting with Wesley, we knew he was going to ensure our wedding went exactly to plan. He got our vibe immediately.

We don’t really have words for how amazing everything turned out, we are still blown away by it all. Until the minute Wesley left, he was checking in and ensuring we were happy. There isn’t much more we could have asked for from a venue.

We’ve never been to a wedding where every single person we speak to has consistently raved about the food and how full they were. This was a huge deal to us as there is nothing worse than hungry guests at the end of the night. No one wants to do the McDonald’s run after a wedding!

Thank you and your amazing team so much for the best night of our lives.

The events space is PERFECT for a medium to large party. A great mix fresh air, conversation spaces, and room to hit the dance floor all without feeling cluttered or too loud. The staff are so accomodating and know how to have a great time… can’t wait until I have another excuse to use the space again! I’ll be back!

My now husband and I got married at POH last month and we had the best day ever! From our wonderful coordinator Meg to the friendly staff and from the aesthetically pleasing venue to the delicious food, we truly couldn’t have been happier with our decision to hold our wedding at POH.
