Beautiful beach with a lot of history. The old jetty ruins are a reminder of the thriving fishing industry from a bygone era.
The caves and the cliffs are beautiful. However, I was disappointed to see that the caves are being used as toilets. Totally unnecessary when there are toilets up top.
There is a cafe, picnic tables and walks and tracks nearby.

Best time to visit is in the mornings or evenings. Check out the sign up top for morning beach yoga days and times - usually about once or twice a week over summer, not far from the old jetty pylons and caves. It's just such a stunning location with a bit of shade in the mornings. The yoga is accessible for all, and it's great to have a quick dip afterwards.

Away from the commercialized crowd of central Adelaide beaches, Port Willunga bay is overlooked by limestone cliffs and a small restaurant which was closed when I visited, and a scattering of beachfront houses.

It's a nice beach that's being returned to nature. The historical jetty is just a bunch of pilings standing forlornly in the surf with the remains of a gravel ramp leading to some old fishermen's caves carved in the limestone.

I imagine these make a pretty setup for a sunset photo.

Amazing! What a beautiful beach with its old caves where you can watch the sunset.
The only jetty ruins and caves are a must see.
A long beach with crystal clear waters is easily accessed and has plenty of parking & public toilets available.
Picnic tables and BBQโ€™s allow you to BYO picnic or you can purchase food from the onsite cafe โ€œThe Star of Greeceโ€, named after the ship wreck known in this area.
Highly recommend a visit, one of our favourite SA beaches.

Lovely dog friendly beach.
Water is crystal clear and the sand is squeaky white. The cliffs are very interesting formations too.

A hidden treasure in Adelaide. Beautiful beach and not deep enough, it's also great for spending time with kids. It also has a barbecue facility in its stunning location.
