Staff were friendly. Coffee was nice my sausage roll was not nice, not awful but not nice. The steak pie was along similar lines. But pastry products are often difficult to rate. The straight cream donut was good though.
Would go here again.

I am somewhat a connoisseur when it comes to beestings and vanilla slices. Unfortunately, I found theirs to be very dry and skimpy on the custard cream. I would not try another. Also, the coffee was pretty average. Cappuccino should have a good layer of frothed milk - mine may as well have been a flat white.
The seating inside, whilst welcome, is very basic. Staff are friendly, but their English isn't great, which can cause confusion.

I never write reviews but the owners of Pt Pirie French Hot Bread went above and beyond to reunite me with a bag that we'd accidently left behind whilst travelling through Port Pirie deserves the effort. They came back to the shop after hours to return our items and refused a cash reward. We were so thankful for their honesty and helpfulness.

Our lunch there was also excellent too!!

Good bakery pie and vanilla slice. The only negative was that they had the chairs stacked on the tables (a few hours before closing), so it didn't feel very inviting. Although they were happy to take them down for customers. I would still go there again.
