overall I would say that my experience at Pittwater Eco adventures was wholy enjoyable. I was concerned about going alone but still found a community and enjoyed all of the opportunities available during my stay.

Pittwater Eco retreat a winner ! Bergia’s yin to Katie’s yang offers a magnificent holistic immersive creative experience, within the beauty of Pittwater. Sharing fire-side chats, strolls in the bush, swims / kayaking / SUP’ing & the creative project sessions ( pottery / drawing / cooking ) with fellow like minded guests was a magical 4 days. Katie & Bergia are both so very supportive of guests individual abilities & interests. One feels completely at ease in their company. The food was worth the trip in itself ! Barista coffee whilst breakfasting amongst the wildlife another favourite moment.Thank you Katie & Bergia for your kindness, enormous energy & skill in co-ordinating this event. Will definetly return. And thank you to my fellow guests for enhancing my stay - a pleasure experiencing this very special place together.

I came here for my Gold Adventurous Journey for Duke of Ed and it has been my favourite trip so far! We did activities such as bushwalking, lots of swimming, yoga, recycling, Aboriginal cultural tours, kayaking, planting and bush regeneration. Throughout the trip I learned so much and am so glad I took this opportunity. The wildlife was truly amazing to see in its natural environment and the bush itself was beautiful. The staff were wonderful with their knowledge, drive and energy. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in conservation and taking action.

OMG most amazing camp!!! Katie and Amy were so amazing and care so deeply not only about the environment which the whole camp is programmed about but also our enjoyment of the camp. I highly recommend participating in this experience, it is perfect for people who may struggle with big expeditions and prefer a more relaxed environment. I learnt so much on this camp and had the most wonderful time.

10/10 experience for my gold qualifying adventurous journey, way better than breaking my shoulders back and neck carrying a 14kg rucksack on my back while hiking/canoeing endlessly for my bronze and silver expedition at another camp. Plus Katie makes banger hot chocolates

I completed the 6 days at the Pittwater YHA for my Gold Duke Of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey. It was a lot of fun, we not only learnt about the environment but also different types of plastics, pollution, bush regeneration and Aboriginal culture. The adventurous aspects of hiking, bush walking, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding were wonderful to partake in as there was a ton of support from the staff for those who struggle with large amounts of activity. Overall it was a great experience and I have learnt a lot to take away from it.

I participated in Gold Residential Project last year and Gold Adventurous Journey this year. Both experiences were amazing and I learnt so much from both of them. We learnt about plastic pollution, bush regeneration and Aboriginal culture. Everyone were really wonderful and I totally recommend for people who are doing Duke of Ed!!!

Just completed my gold duke of ed and have had the most amazing time. Everyday there was something new and and exciting to learn or somewhere to adventure. The leaders are so kind, understanding and willing to cater for all abilities. I highly recommend this program to everyone.
