We had a fantastic 4 nights in one of the apartments at Pirralilla. Beautifully decorated, heaps of space, great facilities and a brilliant location in Aldgate. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Gardiner’s Cottage for the Easter long weekend after deciding only a few weeks out on a getaway. We were surprised that Pirralilla Estate had vacancies for the long weekend. |We were so glad we booked and stayed at Pirralilla! The Gardiner’s Cottage was perfect. Very spacious with one large living/sleeping area, large kitchen, separate bathroom, hallway and laundry.|At the same time it was cosy and we loved the decor and the furnishings, including the fantastic bed and the cosy floor rugs.|Esme made us feel very welcome and provided fresh home made scones, with cream and butter, a fresh loaf of bread, milk, juice and Berenberg jams. |Pirralilla is a three minute drive to Aldgate which has an IGA, pub and a variety of other shops and restaurants and only 15 minutes from Hahndorf, so it’s in a great location but also feels peaceful.|We would definitely stay at Pirralilla Estate next time we getaway to the Adelaide Hills.

My wife and I stayed in Kings Apartment 1 and were amazed. The Apartment is very well thought out and tastefully decorated and furnished in a more feminine manner . The attached photos may not do it justice. ||The apartment kitchen is well appointed with enough jams, tea, coffee, breakfast cereal , bread and juice, not forgetting the delicious scones , jam and cream on arrival waiting were a lovely surprise. The fully equipped kitchen has a full gas burner stove top, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee pod machine, toaster and kettle. ||The bathroom is stunning. Very nicely tiled and the twin shower is simply fantastic. It is huge. More than enough body wash, shampoo, conditioner and towels.||The bed is king sized and is a really nice firm bed , plenty of spare blankets should the reverse cycle air conditioner and electric blanket not be enough.||2 large screen tv’s in the lounge room and bedroom.||The super sized lounge/ dining area is very tastefully decorated and provides a warm comfy relaxation area.||While not a criticism, just a note for those interested, there is no internet. So make sure should you need it, bring your own. 4G works here.||The gardens are great to stroll around. Lots of trees.||This place is an absolute gem.||A 5 out of 5 from us. We will be going back.

Highly recommend for a peaceful escape. My partner and I booked the gardeners cottage for two nights and despite it being so cold outside, Esme made sure the heat was pumping inside (including electric blankets!) so cosy! The space is much bigger than you think, great decor, superbly clean/setup and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is also included and potentially our trips highlight - Esme had made homemade scones for my partner and got me gluten free bread!! Around the cottage there are plenty of trails for running or hiking, close to vineyards and close to FRED eatery for a delicious brunch.

We spent 3 nights at this fantastic place. Esme, the owner, could not have been more friendly and helpful. The appartment is absolutely stunning and very contemporary and modern in a very quiet location. Esme had freshly baked scones, jam and cream ready for our arrival and also supplied fresh bread, milk and other breakfast provisions free of charge. The bed was extra comfy and the bedroom had plenty of wardrobe space and a gigantic TV. We would not hesitate to stay at this propert again!!

The caretakers cottage is a beautiful place to stay. We loved looking out at the forest while laying in bed of a morning. The place is well done up and modern inside and decorated beautifully. We loved the bonus touches they have provided, such as scones on arrival, bathrobes and slippers, and marshmallows so we could toast them in the bonfire. We really enjoyed our stay in such a gorgeous location.

We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodation. Esme had thought of everything even electric blankets and efficient air-conditioning. Scones with cream and jam were a real treat on our arrival.

We had a booking to stay with the estate, unfortunately my husband tested positive for Covid on the day. Its disappointing that the accommodation weren't willing to be flexible to reschedule us given how expensive the stay is. I understand it was short notice, but given the pandemic we are in, I would have thought they would be more flexible, otherwise who would want to be spending this much money only for it to wasted? Unlikely to get tourism this way.
I am not sure if we will book with this place again.
