I stayed at Pippi's for 10 nights following major surgery, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Every single staff member, from housekeeping to management and the bistro team, they were all incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. Their considerate care made a big difference during my recovery. The food was delicious, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The location across the lake made it easy to enjoy peaceful walks each day. I truly felt looked after. Pippi's at the Point will absolutely be my go-to whenever I'm in Newcastle. Thank you for making a difficult time so much easier.

Tonight, we were staying here and waiting for my son to come out of recovery at Warner's Bay Private. Rang them at 830, just on closing,ordered just one meal between us, as I didn't want to inconvenience them. They accepted my order and also gave me the kids meal, so we didn't have to share. Outstanding customer service guys. We will be back under better circumstances. THANKYOU

We stay here yearly for a charity walk. Wow!!! The rooms are so fresh and clean now. The place has been refurbished and tastefully done. Nice fresh colours looking lovely. We had a great front room with large wonderful windows overlooking the lake. The pub is downstairs with a great menu and entertainment. Great place to stay and looking forward to our next visit.

I rarely opt for pub accommodations, but made an exception for this regional establishment, hoping for a more personalized experience than often found in cities. Regrettably, my experience was quite the opposite.

Upon attempting to check in, it became immediately apparent that lodging guests were not a priority. I felt like a second-class customer compared to those at the bar, as the staff member at the counter seemed far more focused on serving drinks than assisting me with check-in. The level of attention and professionalism was severely lacking.

Due to this unwelcoming and unprofessional initial interaction, I made the decision to forgo my stay I had paid upfront for online. I promptly booked and paid for alternative accommodation nearby rather than subject myself to what appeared to be a poorly managed establishment.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location for overnight stays. Potential guests may want to choose their accommodation more carefully than I did in this instance.

We attend this venue on a regular basis as we live near the lake and I would have to say the best food in the area by a long way. The service is next level very friendly they go above and beyond every time 😃✌️ steak with seafood topping 10/10🥩🥩

Parking can be a bit difficult due to it being so popular, but friendly staff good food there wasn't long wait times on food. There was live music, it was a nice environment!

Few things not cooked right but refunded.
My daughter then wanted a cheesecake and received this tiny cup cake size portion for $10! Really not worth $10 for this serving size! Very disappointed.

While we didn't stay in the rooms im still give them 5 stars for cleanliness.
The staff were very accommodating and caring, and the food was next level delicious!!
