My wife and I were travelling from Adelaide to Albury and decided to have a 2 night stay in Swan Hill. My brother-in-law travelled from Melbourne to spend time with us. We had three cars, plenty of room for all of them. The room was a reasonable size for 2 people. The bed was comfortable and there was no traffic noise. The Pioneer Village was a short walk away from the motel.

The room stunk when we got in and so hot. The fridge was not working so had lovely warm water in the fridge on such a hot day. The t.v wasn't working either. Cob webs in the bathroom and had a visit by a big black spider. When I rang about it all, I was told ,"thanks for letting me know,"

I’m glad to have only stayed one night at the motel. It is the worst of the worse i’ve ever been in.
Super poor customer and room management, we were given wrong keys to the room while another customer was still in the room.
The rooms were tiny, dirty and poorly maintained, it is definitely not a place for people to stay in. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE.

Only consider if you want a cheap, cheap experience. Dated building and amenities. Still, you get what you pay for. Better than out on the street! Pay $30/40 if you want a more comfortable evening. Is very central and close to City Centre. Very much a sixties establishment. Seen better days.

Our room was absolutely disgusting. Dirty, grimy, mouldy and uncomfortable. I had to clean the bathroom myself so I could actually have a shower & to know that it was actually clean!
Hair in the shower, basin & toilet. Mould throughout the bathroom & room itself, carpets haven’t been cleaned in years, feel damp & spongy & just plain disgusting. The bed side tables were filth, had coffee stains, along with other stains, dust & dead bugs. The bed head had inches of dust and god knows what else. The air conditioner filters haven’t been changed, most likely, ever! The pictures on the internet / WotIf are deceiving, not what they’re made out to be at all!
And the service at the front desk was dismal, I had to call for assistance to just check-in as the desk was unmanned. Same with lodging my complaints about my room, very slack and unwelcoming service. Ended up getting some money back, which was a task in itself.
Worst location I’ve ever encountered.

I let them know if l didn't receive satisfactory response that l would be making this experience public, To refund my fully. He hung up on me. DON'T STAY IN ROOM 7. Black mould in shower and bathroom. I stayed here 22&23rd of June 2024. I took photos and showed the owner/ manager after l had gotten dressed. I showed him the photos, said it was disgusting and BLACK MOULD WAS POINSNOUS. He asked how long I would be out and said he would clean it. After 5 hours of being out l went back only to find it was NOT CLEANED,he can out and said l could not use the shower, he had sprayed it and he wanted to come back in. To wipe it, Not even scrub it!!! I wasn't feeling well and went to reception to tell them it was not suitable for them to come back in. THAT I WOULD NOT USE THE SHOWER AT ALL. Would you think in 5 hours they could of cleaned it, After 5 hours They did not clean the mould. They dud not offer me a different room to stay in. So very very angry, upset by the poor service and response to my request.

Rooms are small. There was a power board in the room as there was 1 power point in the main area.
Bathrooms are tight
Lighting is adequate and there's no big bright lights. Which I loved.
Stairs to the second story may need some love in the coming months.

This is the bated motel. Don’t stay here. I’m itching from bedbugs. I found other people’s rubbish in the room. I was woken up by Vicpol detectives. It’s old. The staff are crap. It’s terrible and terrifying. One roll of toilet paper for 2 nights and no new towels. Advertising a pool but it’s shut for maintenance. Worst motel in the country.
