I have applied for several permanent roles with Pinnacle People Brisbane, submitting my applications via SEEK and also personally reaching out to the People & Culture contact listed on the job ads to express my strong interest and willingness to discuss the roles further.

With extensive experience in the hospitality industry and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service, I was hopeful for at least a response acknowledging my interest. While I understand they may receive a high volume of applications, the lack of acknowledgment- particularly from the People & Culture team, speaks volumes about the company culture.

For a hospitality recruitment agency, their approach has been surprisingly unwelcoming, and the People & Culture team does not appear to embody the very values their company name suggests.

The lady who answered the phone around 9am Tuesday 17 June who had an American accent needs a really big attitude check. Her tone was rude and extremely passive aggressive. Not a good look when it’s the first person you make contact with. Also she had no idea what she was talking about… she asked if I applied online and I said I did it thru seek. She said “no, my question was did you apply online” - does she think she is some politician?.
