The farm tour at Pine Ridge Miniature Donkeys is a truly delightful and family-friendly experience. Our group of seven, including my wife and one-year-old daughter, had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful property. The tour begins with the chance to hand-feed carrots to the farm's friendly goats, llamas, and sheep. Watching our daughter excitedly feed the animals herself was a highlight, and their gentle nature made it a safe and fun activity for everyone.
​The main event is, of course, the donkeys. We spent time brushing these incredibly calm and gentle creatures, and it was a serene and memorable part of the tour. We even had the special opportunity to meet a young donkey born in April and to feel the movement of a baby donkey inside a pregnant mother. The owners are knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their animals, making the experience both educational and heartwarming. Pine Ridge Miniature Donkeys is a highly recommended outing for anyone looking for a peaceful and charming farm visit.

We booked a tour for our daughter's birthday and we all had a wonderful time. Karin and Arthur were welcoming hosts, a wealth of knowledge and helped to make the day a memorable one for all of us. The care and consideration given to the animals was also lovely to witness. Can't wait to visit again!

This was a wonderful place to visit. We got to visit the donkeys, the babies are so cute. We got to feed the alpacas and goats and I got to nurse the cutest miniature lop eared rabbit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are also accommodating as they allowed me to drive down to the paddock so my mum in a wheelchair could pay the baby donkeys. We had a lovely day. Thank you so very much. I would highly recommend visiting this farm whether you're a family, a group of seniors or disabled. You will definitely enjoy your time there

Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. Karin and Arthur were so friendly and helpful in informing us about their animals and made the experience more memorable! we had quite a large group and we encountered no issues and the owners were so extremely flexible with the experiences. The donkeys were absolutely adorable and cuddly!

Karin and Arthur were amazing and the animals were so cute! We organised a visit for our group of seniors and they couldn't have been easier to work with. We were able to access the animals safely and the feedback from the clients was overwhelmingly positive. We will definitely be back!

BUYER BEWARE – DISHONEST CONDUCT
I’m extremely disappointed with Pine Ridge Miniature Donkeys, trading via their Facebook page Hooves & Hay Farm. I promptly paid $500 for a miniature donkey named Hannah. Shortly after, I was told I must also purchase pet insurance, which I paid without delay. Despite multiple attempts to arrange collection, I was informed Hannah had a respiratory infection and that I was responsible for the vet bill, as I had already paid for her.

I believe Pine Ridge’s business practices are deeply concerning, and their conduct has been appalling. They have now ceased all communication. I will be reporting them to the Department of Fair Trading and commencing legal action to recover my money.

If Pine Ridge would like to resolve this matter without further difficulty, we are willing to accept either delivery of the donkey or a full refund. They can contact us directly via Messenger.

An absolutely amazing, incredible experience, hospitality beyond wonderful, karin was absolutely fantastic, everything was to absolute perfection, amazing breakfast superb hospitality and the Donkeys well what can one say an absolute delight 😊 ,a truly wonderful experience and I encourage everyone to stay here and experience a home away from home 🏡
