Celebrated my birthday with a group of friends on board Pilgrim Magnetic Island. From the moment we stepped on the quay to the moment we stepped off at the end of our lunch time cruise, nothing was too much for the crew. Even before we arrived, we had all the information we needed to enable us to prepare. It was such a memorable day. I can’t thank the Pilgrim team enough.
….and it wasn’t just us. We were staying at Peppers resort and watched several parties coming off Pilgrim with the biggest smiles.

Absolutely perfect afternoon on the water, Clayton and Jasper were fantastic hosts and sailors. The charcuterie plates were amazing, loaded with local cheeses and home-made delicacies. The drink choices were many and varied, local beers and Australian wines. Can't say enough great things about this fabulous tour.

We spent the day on the lunch time sail and it was so relaxing! After originally booking the sunset sail, we were contacted by Claire to see if we could change dates. After chatting to her she offered to change the booking to a lunch time booking as it was my birthday and I really wanted to go out on the specific day. She was so accommodating and friendly. The staff on the boat were also great. Very chatty and attentive. The lunch was amazing, especially the pumpkin chutney! Honestly the most relaxing birthday I’ve ever had.

The Pilgrim sunset sail around Magnetic Island was truly magical from the moment we stepped aboard.

As we sailed despite the rain all that week, we had no rain during our sail and the highlight, of course, was the sunset and the calm sea and gentle breeze, made it feel like time had stopped.

What really makes this experience stand out was the personal touch—friendly and professional crew, beautiful homemade labneh and Clare’s famous pumpkin chutney and organic wines, and the sense that we weren’t just passengers, but friends.

Whether you’re a local or visiting Magnetic Island for the first time, this is an absolute must-do.

We did the Sip and sail sunset cruise and I can't recommend it enough! This was definitely the highlight of our quick trip away to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The boat was beautiful and comfortable. The wines were great with a vast selection to choose from, as well as the lovely cheese and fruit platter.
Clayton and Jasper were amazing hosts who looked after us splendidly.
It's evident that the organisers of this tour take great pride in providing a first class, quality experience to their customers and at a very reasonable price... A must do when visiting Magnetic Island and Townsville!

Beautifully relaxed experience on the sunset sail. Skipper Clayton had things running smoothly and the hospitality was great. The young decky Jasper genuinely showed interest in each of the guests and made us feel welcome.
The platter served is crafted with care for the ingredients which are well explained by the crew…. It’s not just coon and crackers! The beer and wine is top shelf.
The boat is really comfortable with plenty of room for those on board.
You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I absolutely loved the lunch tour. Friendly and very attentive crew, we were offered continuous drinks and made to feel very welcome. The boat was very comfortable and even though the skies were clear and the sun was beaming down, we had enough shade to not get burnt or feel too hot. The seafood grazing box was really delicious and it was lovely to see that lots of local produce was used. We would recommend this tour 100% and will definitely be doing it again. Thank you for such a brilliant day!
