Lovely hotel on the water. Friendly, helpful staff. Our room on the first floor had loads of character- large beams (metal and wood) on the ceiling and hanging below the ceiling, too. It is part of the bridge infrastructure, so that’s cool. I’m short so it was just an interesting visual but my better half is over 6 feet tall and he had to be super careful not to bonk his head. Overpriced breakfast buffet at $45 pp— so walk down towards Walsh and have breakfast on the waterfront at the BarCycle instead! You won’t regret it. ||Good location but you are not “in” the action. Keeps things quiet but also a 20 minute walk to the Opera house or Bangaroo. We stayed with points, so it was an overall win… but if you want to be closer to the action, choose the Marriott instead. Less character, standard stuff, but close to more things (other than the water).

Beautiful hotel with lovely views, but they sacrificed functionality for style. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and very attentive. Some of the best we've encountered. On the negative side, the bathroom is very badly designed with the half glass shower. The water spills into the main area and our shower didn't drain properly so there is a permanent puddle of water. Maintenance did they best they could but it just wasn't built properly. We stayed in a king bedroom with a gorgeous view of the harbor, but you sleep behind doors to keep the light out. Which sounds good in theory, until you wake up in the middle of the night and have to move the noisy doors and it lets the light in, waking your partner. There are also weird, small bed side tables that shake and make noise. ||For a first time visitor to Sydney, the location of this hotel is not ideal. It's a 15-20 min walk to Circular Quay and all the starting points for tours. After walking around all day, the walk back to the hotel was not ideal. There are no restaurants nor shops nearby. I would not recommend this location for tourists.

Amazing places!! A huge thank to all of the staff especially to Dianne, who helped us and made us feel so welcomed. Our little fur-baby’s first time staying in hotel, definitely very recommended. They have all the basic stuff for doggy, very detailed.
Meet our expectations but beyond, will definitely want to come back 🥳

Great unique property a little off the beaten path under the Harbour Bridge, which was nice to be not right on top of the action in Circular Quay and the Rocks but still very close by. Great views of the Harbor and upscale finishes. Staff was super nice and helpful (special thanks to Denise and Eugene who sent us a bottle of wine and helped make us some difficult dinner reservations). Lots of perks for Bonvoy Elites and a superb suite upgrade.||Would love to return when back in Sydney.||Jackie and Jon from NYC

This hotel is an amazing place to go to if you want to be able to see the harbour bridge and other cool views in Sydney. The food is amazing and the speed of service is incredible. They help you take all your bags up to your room and they are really kind. The rooms were also great and they were very clean and comfortable. The beds were perfect. I would definitely recommend that you go to this hotel. If I could give 6 or 7 starts I would.

Had a fantastic stay at Pier One Sydney. The location is unbeatable. You're only ever a short walk from the city's best spots, yet the hotel still feels tucked away and peaceful.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Eugene at concierge, who truly stood out with exceptional service and local recommendations.

One of the highlights was enjoying drinks while watching the sunset over the harbour... an absolute must-do if you're staying here.

I really enjoyed staying at this small hotel with great views from my room of the harbor. I always enjoy staying at autograph collection hotels, and this one was another great hotel to choose. The staff are all very friendly and they did a great job of meeting to my needs. This is a great location because you’re a quick walk under the bridge or into the rocks, which is the best part of Sydney and it’s away from the high-rises and the immediate downtown crush. The food was great as well. I would only encourage them to go seed oil Free so everything is healthy. Overall great hotel. Thank you for the great cakes to celebrate the birthday.

Very comfortable. Staff very friendly and personable and remembered me by name. Concierge very helpful. Room was nice - love the design and so many places on the railings to hang things! Great waterfront proximity and a few steps to a view of Sydney Opera House.

Bathroom sink design was a bit weird, one of those things that look pretty but not very comfortable to use - the bowl-on-the-table design pops kind of high on the counter, and the faucet goes a bit low, making the experience a bit awkward. That's the only thing where the design could be more comfortable. Everything else was really good.
