The stay was good and the service was very helpful. Just that it would have been better if we had some table in the room to place our valuables as everything had to be placed on the floor. It was quiet inconvenient. But the games room was entertaining , the kitchen was wonderful and we were not aware of the shared bathroom it was our first time booking but it was just one night and five rooms had a set of bathrooms that made it easy for us to be able to use it at our convenience. We had a enjoyable stay and safe. Thank you YHA staff and management.

Had a super stay at Philip Island YHA. Rooms and amenities were super clean. Staff was very friendly. They also had some recommendations of the tourist attractions in the neighbourhood, which was very helpful. Wish we had more time to explore all of them!

The price is OK. Staff very nice. The room lacks a coat hanger, a sideboard or anything to put something other than a suitcase.

We stayed here for our school camp and it may well be the best school camp accommodation I've ever seen. The facilities are new, clean and fantastic for groups then add on the amazing program the Larson organised and we had an amazing camp.
Location is spot on, being in walking distance of local shops and San Remo.
Larson also organised our catering which ensured full bellies for our students at every meal.
We're trying to organise our dates so we can book for next year.

Stayed in a private room with ensuite. Lovely and clean facilities. The mattresses need replacing (hence the minus star). Helpful staff. Big kitchen. Spacious living areas

Nice hostel, but all the common area closes at 10:45 pm so definitely a place for old people. I think the name YHA doesn’t seem right they should call it OHA (Oldies Hostel Australia)

Great place but not for small family. Crew is all right but preffer rooms with attach bath and kitchen. Anyways not bad to spend couple of nights or big family visit
