Really enjoyed our stay
Could use more attention cleaning outdoor furniture not a fan of spiders

The house is on the waterfront and has a nice view and we enjoyed our stay there. However, the downside was that despite spending over an hour cleaning up before we departed, we were still charged an extra cleaning fee due to some sand and grass found through the house, which is bound to happen at a waterfront property.
The house is also pet friendly but you will be penalised for any accidental stains made by pets (that will come off in a regular wash). We paid a cleaning fee, which we think should have covered the above and was a bit of a sour end to what would otherwise have been a nice experience.

I stayed at 46 islander drive for 3 nights with my wife and absolutely loved the house. We took our little dog with us as which made our stay possible. The house had everything possibly needed and more. The staff organised everything professionally and were very courteous and friendly. We will definitely going back to pet let at our next vacation.

This was my 2nd stay at a PetLet Property. We spent 4 nights at 46 Islander Drive, Encounter Lakes in March this year. Unfortunately it was not long enough. I booked this property as we had some overseas guests and we wanted to take them somewhere to spend some quality family time together mixed in with a bit of R&R and also to showcase to them the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. We were not disappointed! My Mum, my brother from Perth, my Aunt & Uncle from Scotland & myself had the most wonderful time at this house. This house is amazing! So spacious, with modern, comfortable furnishings and everything that you could possibly need...and more! The kitchen was very well equipped and 1 night we also enjoyed the BBQ in the outdoor setting area. The beds were very comfortable with lovely clean linen. Everything in this house was spotless, inside & out. The views are amazing looking over the lake. It is so peaceful & serene. There was also a bit of activity in the lake with swimmers and canoe's which also provided some enjoyable interest and entertainment. Not to forget the birdlife as well! We had our own private beach and there was a kayak and a tinnie. We went out on the tinnie a few times and used the paddles to go around the lake which was fun. We could have spent all day at the house as it was so nice just to be there but we did do some local day trips as well. There is plenty to see and do on the Fleurieu Peninsula! The owner Melinda is so lovely and went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I had to ring Melinda a couple of times before we arrived and she could not have been more helpful or accommodating to our needs. There were even some chocolates & a bottle of wine for us on arrival. The booking system is excellent as was the communication all the way through. My bond money was automatically refunded to me on the next business day after our departure. Myself & the family loved it here. We can't speak highly enough of this property or of the owner Melinda. I highly recommend this property. Unfortunately we no longer have our 4-legged friend with us but we know she would have loved it as well sitting on the grass watching the birds. Would love to come back and have another stay at this property! This property is excellent value for money. Thank you so much Melinda for helping to make our stay a great & memorable one. This is our 2nd time at this property and it was perfect the 1st time. Now they have revamped a few things it is even better. Perfect location, so relaxing and most of all our time away is mainly for our dogs. They have such a great time every time we have been here. Definitely be back again next year. Love the place. 😊😊😊
