It's a great creek if you spot platypus. If not, its not that great. But it's definitely worth a visit!

Great walking trail with lots of local wildlife hidden in the forest. Most impressive were the platypus frolicking in the creek.

Was here between 10am and 12 noon on a sunny day and saw 4 or 5 platypus mooching around in the river. Very fun to watch. Also saw about a thousand flying foxes, a huge lizard (and loads of little lizards), lots of turtles, Ulysses butterflies, kingfisher, bush turkey. Have a bit of patience and a keen eye and you'll be able to spot platypus if they are about.

A good chunk of the track is still closed due to private property signs, the sections that are open are well kept and the volunteers clearly do a wonderful job. Just one person ruining it for everyone.

Saw one today feeding along the bank about 100 m in the right of the path from the carpark where the path is close to the water. It was 6 pm
